Naoya Zenin
I arrived a little bit late, approaching the meeting hall and quickly catching Ogi and Jinichi outside the close doors of the hall. It was irritating to be called in for a meeting unexpectedly because honestly there's a hundred things I can use my precious time with rather than listening to these two complain and suggest puny resolution for conflicts because they're too much of a coward and tries to play everything safe
Ogi scoffs, "You're late."
I can't hide my annoyance, rolling my eyes, "Why are we gathered here? Another stupid meeting?" I say while waiting outside the room along with these two weaklings, Ogi and Jinichi. To be blood related to this bastards disgusts me. "Watch your tone." Ogi warns. I smile daringly, "Make me." He begins to draw his sword when my Jinichi stops him. Cowards. No wonder they weren't even considered to be a successors for the head for the Zenin clan.
Jinichi sits down stiffly crossing his arms, "Don't act like you're better than us." emphasizing every word firmly. I let out an improbable laugh raising a brow in his direction, "Well I am."
Subtly trying to hide his annoyance, "Focus Naobito will be here in any moment." Jinichi says standing between me and Jinichi.
The Jujutsu world have been bustling the recent years, the recognition of a new Zenin member not I even knew existed, losing a special grade artifact then some idiot swallowing it and apparently lived and now is Sukuna's vessel, and the most recent is the attack on Tokyo High during a school event. The rules that were created of those who came before us still exist to this day, lasting centuries, because simply it is effective and I truly believe when we started to bend and create exceptions for certain individuals caused all this ruckus.
Everyone stands up and bows down when my father arrives. He glares at me seeing that I remained sitting down. I curl my lips into a smirk before entering the meeting hall. "We need to decide what to do about her." My father starts. Her, Kazui-chan, that deadbeat who got herself mind fucked by purposely sacrificing herself for the sake of that other Zenin bastard, Megumi.
"We have no use of her." Jinichi retorts. "She's still a Zenin." Mai-chan gives a sharp look to Jinichi. It's not often Mai-chan shows empathy not even to her own twin and let alone defend them, This is an interesting scene to behold. But considering Kazui-chan was a third year and Mai-chan's Senpai in Kyoto High I wouldn't be surprised. Kazui-chan was weak but she was atleast she was a little bit better than Maki making her almost bearable.
I huff catching everyone's attention, "I hate to agree with Jinichi that she is useless." Wasting resources and keeping her alive is a waste. The Zenin don't want to associate themselves with the weak but how we're handling Kazui-chan's situation is bothering. I never realize we bend our rules and principles for a weak individual like her. It would be easier to just throw him into a den of curses like what we did to her father. Well thinking about it more... It does seem like a good idea, there's just something about a father-daughter sharing the suffering.
