Thing is nowadays, people are immersed in their so high standards and 24/7 fantasies that they forget what their worth is. You want love, you saw an incredibly beautiful girl, decided to make her yours because your delusion controls you. When rejected, you'd mald hard until you either realize that you ain't good enough and just improve yourself or do the most insane things just to prove that your fear of being a normal guy is just a "yeah it must be the heat that's causing this". And that's true especially in social media. Idols were made to entertain people and in a way united people. But idolization turns into obsession thus creating a far more deeper hole that houses individuals or groups. The same goes for hatred. Stalkers of both sides continuously prying into that idol's life gering information that both used for different purposes can still ruin the idol's life. It can lead to rape or assault or to harm some family member or friend or to use it as an upper hand. It not only puts your "chances" lower which you don't have in the first place, you also are at risk of punishment thus making your life and others' life worse.
