"You can leave." Roy said sternly.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Anger boiled through each and every veins in Rose after hearing those three words.
Ash then meddled in, "Hey Roy, I think you need to chill." he said. Roy chose to ignore him and waited for Rose to get up from her seat. But Rose remained on her seat while Ash tried to convince Roy.
Ash, then sighed before explaining "Roy, I think you should test if she has the skills that's required for this internship instead of judging the perspective she has on a question that's clearly debatable."
To which Allen agreed "Yes Roy, Ash is right."
"Okay." Roy said after thinking and looked at Rose.
"So, Ash pointed out that you're always up-to-date with the show, is that true?" Rose nodded.
"So it means that you'd know about the town Necburg we talked about in one of our previous episode. Right?" He asked.
Rose nodded again and Roy continued. "Even though we only took out the town's name, there's this case that has not been solved. It's looks like a murder, but then police found out some unassured evidence that points out the fact that-"
"That there is an involvement of something unknown......." Rose cut him off. She then looked straight into Roy's eyes as she continued "....or maybe an involvement of someone powerful, behind the scenes."
Roy was taken a back when she said that. He didn't expect her to know about the case. Not only that, it's been suppressed from media for so long and evidence they gathered pointed at nothing. It was all messed up that the police confirmed the involvement of someone with high status, therefore, the lead was dead.
"How do you know?" Allen asked. Even she seem to be surprised.
"Ash, did you tell her about it?" Roy asked him, to which he shook his head.
"Bro, are you kidding me? Not at all." He said and Roy believed.
The trio, then looked at Rose for an answer. Rose internally smirked.
"On the previous episode, you mentioned about the Necburg town, which doesn't have much problems other than tiny thefts and illegal smugglings." she stated.
The trio's ears were all all open as they continued to listen to her "Until, I came across an unsolved case that did not have much articles or blogs written about. But I-" Rose took her bag and unzipped it to grab a messy file.
"-managed to find some information."
Roy took the file and checked it along with Allen and Ash. Ash nodded like a proud senior while Roy and Allen looked at each other with surprise.
Roy personally had already found these information for this case with the help of the town's police, the families of the victim and other sources. How did she get these many information in limited time? Roy thought.
Rose zipped her bag close as she explained "I still have some more theories regarding the case. But for now, this is all that can be stated as the possible conspiracies."
"You're in." Allen said as she carefully read the file. Roy looked at Allen to question it "Wait, shouldn't we discuss about it firs-"
"Rosaria, do you mind stepping out for a bit?" Allen asked politely, to which Rose agreed "Of Course."
She grabbed her back as she made her way out, with a victorious smirk.
Flashback
The day when Abyss Investigation's latest episode aired.
Rose was comfortably sat on her couch, as she watched the latest episode of one of her favorite show on the TV.
"Thank you for watching this episode and 'The Case Of The Minor Assault' ends here. For the next case, we are going to have a visit to this small town called Necburg. Until then, stay safe and happy!" Allen spoke through the screen.
"Necburg...?" she murmured after hearing it through the screen.
"Necburg..." she said again but with a small smile on her face.
Rose stood from her place after hearing the town's name and then halted towards her working table and sat in front of her laptop.
NOW
Rose closed the door from outside after leaving the trio inside the room for discussion.
"She's good! Look at these...She managed to get so much info just in few days. Tell me Roy, how long did it take for you to earn the same amount of theories?" Allen stated. Roy nodded in acceptance but also felt like this wasn't possible. Well, there might be few possible ways.
First of all, it could be that she's from/knows someone from the town and therefore, she got access to this. Or second, which could also be a possibility.....she is connected to this case. Since the Ivy Wood case case has an involvement of someone powerful, they wouldn't want to-
'Or maybe I'm just just overthinking? Whatever it is, she knows stuff and that's necessary.' he thought.
"Okay, we can continue with further procedures to appoint her." Ash clapped once and Allen nodded.

Later at night, Rose cleaned her apartment as she mentally noted and continued to trash out the garbage. As she threw the garbage, her phoned ringed. She took it out from her pocket and answered it.
"Tell me Moya."
"Turn around." She did and saw her cheerful friend standing next to her apartment gate as she showed off the cover in her hand filled with chicken and beer.
"I guess Soya irritated you with all the questions about Ash and the seminar." Rose stated to which Moya was unsurprised.
"Yeah, no shit Sherlock."
Rose smirked and said "Let's go in."
------------------------------------
Rose opened the beer can, which foamed up and rushed out of the can.
"Crap." Rose muttered and sipped the spilling beer.
Moya took a bite from the fried chicken and asked "So, how was the interview- no wait, How was Roy?" Moya wiggled her eyebrows at the latter question, but Rose dramatically rolled her eyes to that.
"Interview was......wholesome and the same goes to Roy." Rose said as she eyed the plate full of chicken, trying to find a fat piece.
Moya gave her a 'Bruh" stare and said "Wholesome? One word answer won't explain shit to me. So, spill it sis."
Rose sighed and said whatever happened.
"Man!! Roy turned out to be a jerk huh." Moya concluded. Rose sighed again.
"I guess, because it hurt my esteem soo bad that I had to show him that he's wrong with his statement."
Moya then giggled. "Yeah, can imagine that. So, what do you think of him now? Is he still your 'idol'?" Moya hand-quoted the idol part when she asked that.
Rose then stared blankly onto the wall as she said out what she thinks.
"Well.......I don't know. All I can say is that his position is degraded in my heart. BUT! I'll get to a conclusion once we team up for the case."
Moya nodded to that and burped. She then grabbed the can and drank it at once.
Meanwhile, Rose continued to stare at the wall and thought of the upcoming future as a part of Abyss Investigation.
Thinking about it itself made her automatically made her smile with victory.
'This is going to be an exciting time.' She thought to herself and continued to spend her night with beer and chicken.....and her friend Moya.
