Chapter 6

"So, when are they gonna update regarding the internship?" Moya successfully asked through her sealed clay on her face.

"Well, I'm only notified regarding the interview, which is a pass. I'm not sure if we're gonna have any extra task to do. " I answered as I rested my eyes in a pair of cucumber slices.

"It's unlikely that they'd ask for anything else since it's not a desk job. Regardless, I'm sure you are already ready with any potential ones they might ask you to do." Moya sstaed with confidence to which I internally smiled.

"Of course I am hehe- " before I could say anything more. My phone vibrates  to which I reacted.

I removed the cucumber slices and checked my phone to see a notification from Ash.

Ash Senior: Congrats Rose! Our crew finalized you to be the first intern to get into our program.

You: For real? Thanks!

"Hehe of course I'm in." I mumbled to myself as I waited for a reply.

Ash Senior: You'll soon receive an email that will have everything explained in it. So, wait for it and let me know if you have any extra questions.

You: Alrighty. I'll let you know ^^

"Why are you smiling like am madman?" Moya asked to which I flipped my hair.

"Well, I got accepted."

"Congrats." Moya said nonchalantly.

I looked over her and questioned "Where's the excitement? Why aren't you surprised? "

Moya sighed and stated "Well, It's obvious that you'll get in. You're a genius, so it'll be shocking only if you aren't accepted."

I nodded with extreme pride and responded "Oh that's true hehehe. "

"Aahh, I feel refreshed." Moya dramatically exclaimed as we left the spa.

"I agree. Now let's go to mall and look for some goods." I said with urgency.

Since I'm accepted into the program.  I have to make sure that I have enough clothes and stuff that is decent to wear on a show. Especially because we'll be going to Necburg, and I hope that I'll look the best while I'm there.

"Okie dokie let's go!"

On your way to the mall, I waited for the email and hoped it to pop up on my screen. Soon, we both walked into the mall and looked around to find a shop that's isn't branded or expensive.

"Let's go over there." I said, when I spotted a shop full of floral designs.

As we walked in, I looked around and so plenty of clothes that are of my style.

"Moya I'm gonna try out this one." I said as I glanced over the black floral beauty.

"Ooh, I never knew you like floral prints. I bet you'll look great on it." She exclaimed.

I smiled at her reply and walked over the try-out area.

"What do you think?" Rose asked.

Moya looked at her with awe and said "We need to get more of floral prints. Coz you look like an angel"

I sheepishly smiled and stated "Call me a devil in disguise. That suits me more." To which Moya just laughed and she continued to look for more dresses.

"Waah, we bought a lot of stuff. Thankfully, there's a season discount for most of it." Moya stated to which I nodded followed with a sigh.

"I need some ice cream. Let's go grab some." I pleaded.

Moya nodded her head with a smile "Okie, let's go!'

Then we continued to walk in search of an ice cream shop. I have a mood to have some berry flavored Ice cream. I thought as I walked along Moya. but we came to a sudden halt when Moya furiously stared at the other side of the road. I looked over to see what made her react like that and guess what? It was that stalker guy.

"You're kidding me. Was he following us the whole time?" I questioned, almost feeling my blood boil.

Moya then turned towards me and pitifully looked at me. "I'm sorry Rose. I thought he'd be a nice guy but turns out he's not."

I gave her a confused look and asked "What is that supposed to mean? Usually you say 'OMG he's being adorable!'. What's up?"

She let out a deep sigh and said "Well after the morning incident, he came to meet me at my class. And...."

I squinted my eyes with curiosity "And...?"

"He....he kind of blackmailed me." She confessed.

I tried my best not to glare at the other side where that dude was standing. Instead, I controlled my anger and grabbed Moya's hand to move towards a café that was near us.

We made ourselves comfortable at a corner, where I'd get a good view of anyone around us.

"What did he do?" I asked her after confirming that he didn't get inside the café.

"Uhm...well when he came to me during my class, he tried to bribe me with a video he secretly recorded." She stated.

I continued to stare at her to make her tell out the truth "Moya, what video?"

She continued to be hesitant to tell it but I grabbed her hand to reassure her that it'll be okay.

Moya let out a big sigh. She then confessed.

"It's the video of me and Nathan making out."

I let out big what after hearing "What? That Nathan?" I questioned. Moya whined at my disgusted expression as she lightly slapped my arm.

"I know you don't like them but-" Moya tried to explain but i cut in.

"Of course I don't like him! He's your ex and he cheated on you. Also, doesn't he have a girlfriend right now?"

Moya looked down with guilt.

I let out a huge sigh as I rested my head on chair. I looked over the roof as I interrogated her.

"So you're telling me that you let him cheat on you and his current girlfriend?! Seriously, I thought you could do better Moya." I tried to remain as calm as possible but thinking about itself is making me frustrated.

Moya slowly opened up to talk "I know what I did isn't cool. But it just happened at the moment because I still had a bit of feelings for him."

I tried my best not to stare at her dumbfounded as I calmly asked "Just because you had a bit of feelings for him doesn't mean that you cant differentiate right from wrong. Moya, you have-" before I could complete my sentence, Moya pleaded.

"Look Rose, I really know what I did isn't right. I've been feeling guilty ever since it has happened. But right now, you have to help me with the video. If Nathan's girlfriend- Catherine gets to know, I'll be doomed because her family is very powerful in the political sector. She can do anything." She explained with fear clearly visible on her face.

"Wow great." I let out a big sigh as I thought about the deep shit Moya fell into. All because of her so-called 'feelings' and the video.

"What did he want in return of the video?" I questioned. I gave it a thought for a minute a tried not to roll my eyes out of my eye socket.

"Don't tell he wants to date me or some shit." I frankly stated to which Moya shook her head. 

"He just asked me to find chances so that he can spend time with you."
