"Hi I'm Aalina may I sit here?" she says looking at them "Sure," Cat says, "Where are you from? your accent is beautiful" Cat says, "Oh thank you, I'm from Malaysia" she says shyly "Oh cool what was it like there?" I ask "Beautiful, I used to live in a village called Kampung it was so peaceful at night but also had a lot of bugs," she says laughing. "It sounds so beautiful," Cat says, "Right it does," I say.
"So Aalina I seem to be collecting gorgeous people today, so would you like to be friends?" Cat asks, Aalina shyly puts her hair behind her ear looking at Cat "Sure" she says "Great do you want to sit with us at lunch?" I ask, "Sure," she says. Beep, "There goes to the bell, okay everyone I hope you know what you're doing for your group projects they are due next week" as they head to Strea's locker Lada, Hanuni, and Kio comes in view. "Hey, guys miss me," Cat says we all laugh, "oh guys this is Aalina we met her last period," Strea says.
"Hi," she says shyly, "Aalina this is Hanuni, Lada, and Kio," they all say hey.
"Oh kio why aren't you with your group of friends?" Strea asks, "Oh I forgot to give you my number," he says rubbing the back of his neck, "Why would I need your number?" I ask, "For the homework that Mr. M assigned that's due tomorrow," he says, "Kio you could have just asked if you wanted my number," she says to him chuckling, "Right, well then can I have your number?" He asks, "Sure," she says writing it down on a piece of paper.
"Yo Kio!" says Keola. As he wraps his arm around Kio's shoulder " Who's your new friends?" he asks amusingly curious, "Oh this is Hanuni, Lada, Cat, Aalina, and Strea" he says, they all say hi, "Guys this is Keola Tagaloa" Kio says introducing him, "Nice to meet you, ladies" Keola says, "Likewise" Strea says.
"Hey, how about we make a group chat," Strea says.
"Sure," they all say. As they exchange numbers "Dude is that the new girl that Keola and Kio are talking to?" upon hearing this Jalon lifts his head up, "Let's pay them a visit" Jalon says. "Strea" Cat says making Strea look at her, "Look who's coming our way," she says surprised, I turn my head towards where Cat is looking, and see the guy from my homeroom and another boy, he looks an inch shorter than him.
