"What?" Jalon snaps, catching her watching him out of the corner of his eye.
"Nothing. You just seem... interesting," Astrea replies, still studying him.
He turns, propping his head on his hand, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "What's so...
Looking at her watch and back at her sibling, "Okay, well get back to your classes I don't want to be the cause of your "skipping class" excuse", upon hearing this her siblings leave heading back to their previous classes. "Nabi isa" Aalina says, "What?" Lada says in response, "oh sorry, I said Jesus Christ," Aalina says explaining.
"I know right that was crazy," Cat says, "Strea are you really okay?" Hanuni asks concerned, "I am fine guys, I told you I am scared of no one, I'm just lucky my siblings got here on time or I would have beat her lights out," Strea says menacingly, turning to the girls, "I hope I didn't scare you guys," Strea says worried, "No not really, I just hope you don't do that to us," Aalina says, as the girls ignore Aalina's comment, "Are you kidding that was badass," Hanuni says while Cat and Lada agree. "And don't worry I don't get mad easily just with people like Mercedes and Rachel, the "bullies" always piss me off," Strea says annoyed, "Well at least we have one friend that can fight," Cat says, the girls chuckle.
"Next!" the cafeteria lady yells, "What would you like sweetie?" the lunch lady asks Strea, "Uhm can I have three Hawaiian pizzas please," Strea asks, "Okay here you go, have a nice day," the lady says smiling while handing her a styrofoam container with the pizza slices in it, "Guys I am going to pay for my lunch ill wait for you guys at the cashier, "Strea yells out to the girls, "Okay!" Cat responds back for them. As it's time for Strea to pay for her lunch "Hi, what is your lunch for today?" the cashier asks, "I have three Hawaiian pizza slices" Strea says in a relaxed tone, "Okay that's going to be five ninety-nine" the cashier says holing out their hand, "okay", she says handing the cashier six dollars, "here you go" the cashier says handing back a dollar, "Thanks" she says taking the money and walking away.
As Strea waits near the cash register for the girls, Aalina walks up to her, as she looks up from her phone she says "hey", she then looks over and notices the rest of the girls coming her way, "Okay, so where do we sit?" Strea asks, "Follow me I have a spot," Cat says as she walks out the cafeteria towards the school doors, going past the parking lot and into this flowery area.

"Wow, this is beautiful Cat," Hanuni says in awe, the girls agree and sit down getting comfortable, "Yeah I know," Cat says proudly, "How did you even find this place?" Strea curiously asks, putting down her fork, "I was looking for a quiet place to study one day and came across this place I've been coming here ever since" Cat says smiling, "Wow, before I met you guys I was always eating in the library" Lada says sadly, "Why" Strea asks curiously, the girls go silent waiting for Lada to reply, "I mean you don't have to answer if you don't want to" Strea says trying to reassure her, clearing her throat, "No its okay, I was pregnant last year, and Rachel figured out this and threatened to tell everyone but I begged her not to, so instead she made up a rumor and told people to stay away from me" she says with her head down
"Ay Dios Mio!" Cat yells, "You have a baby, I must meet them at once!" she says excitedly, making the girls laugh, "So I'm an aunt, good to know," Hanuni says happily, looking up, "Wait, you guys aren't disgusted by me?" she says surprised, as all the girls look at Lada, "Why would we be disgusted? women have babies all the time, some start young and there's nothing wrong with that" Strea says with a reassuring smile, as Lada hears this she starts to cry, "You guys are the first friends I've had in a long time" Lada says happily wiping a lone tear. As the girls hear this they all start to smile, "Aww, come here" Cat says pulling her into a hug, "We'll always be your friends Lada" Strea says with a smile.
"Okay enough with the sappiness I'm hungry," Hanuni says clapping her hands together, and the girls chuckle.
The girls finish lunch and head back into the school throwing their garbage away at the front door, and heading to Strea's locker, "Okay so does anyone have gym this period?" Strea asks, "No," Lada says, "Nope," Cat says, "Sorry," Hanuni says shrugging, "Okay," Strea says sighing, "It's okay well be together eighth and ninth," Hanuni says, "Yeah," Cat says smiling, "Okay well gotta go, bye," Strea says, the girls say bye back, separating to different directions of the hall.
