After Moa had confessed to me, I had gotten to know her better and I had changed my opinion about her, enough for me to start falling for her. On the other hand, Yui was already going out with Shimazu but their relationship didn't look like it was holding on. I had no business in her personal matters so I just minded my own business.
"Yuuto, are you free after school?" Moa asked. We've been calling each other by our first names as it was only right for couple's to do so. I told her that I'm pretty much free to do whatever after school ends and so we ended up making plans to go to the Aquarium. She asked me if Yui and Shimazu could tag along and I had no objections.
While we were waiting for Shimazu and Yui, Moa and I decided to get some Ice cream. I was kinda irritated since she kept taking bites from me even though she got the same flavour as me. When the two arrived, we went to get our tickets. Moa and Yui were busily chatting ahead of Shimazu and I. I was still on bad terms with the guy so I just kept silent and tried to mind my own business. We had quite a great time and Moa kept staring at the different fishes. We decided to eat at a nearby restaurant as the one in the Aquarium was way out of our budgets, and once again, Moa kept taking my food.
It was around 9pm and I had just dropped off Moa at her house. When I came home, my parents we're still at work and Yui was sitting on the couch watching some dorama. I simply greeted her and went straight up to my room to rest.
As I was changing, the lights to my room suddenly turned off, I thought it was just a power outage but I started hearing footsteps and they were getting louder by the second. I then felt a soft sensation on my back and arms wrapping around me.
"Yui? What're you doing?" I asked.
She held on tighter.
I didn't know what was wrong with her. Was she having a fever, or did she get hurt by Shimazu. I had to do something. As each minute passed by, we held onto each other, I kept my arms away from where I should not touch. We were probably stuck in that position for about 15 minutes when she decided to let go. I turned the lights on and her eyes were red from bawling them earlier.
I was going to get her some tissues when she suddenly grabbed me by the hand, which then made me fling towards her.
Next thing I knew as I opened my eyes, our lips were touching. I immediately broke off and it was extremely awkward. After what had just happened, I don't think that I'll be able to sleep in the same room tonight, so I took my pillows and told her that I'll be sleeping in the living room.
