I went to the bus park to get a taxi to go home. It was Friday, so dog nyam my supper caah mi naah get no drive fih now an people a run from all angles fih guh inah a drive an mi naah run an drop or mek nuhn a dem push mi dung caah a swear seh meeda fight.
I heard my phone ringing :
Incoming Call from: 1876 346*****
Mi nuh know the number but because my best friend always borrows people's phone to call I thought it was her, suh hear me now,
"bad bad ypre "
To my surprise, I heard someone on the other end laughing suh mi a seh then a who this a call mi phone an juss a laugh. Mi caah tek foolishness suh mi kiss mi teeth an hang up.
I finally got a taxi and on the journey, we went (yes journey caah mi yard far bad).
I reached the bus stop in my community but there I'd have to take another drive to reach home. Heard my phone ringing again, when mi look a the same number wah call before suh mi answer and seh
"Who this? Fuck yaw call mi phone fah"
I heard this thick, melodic, Angel like voice say,
"Sunshine, but uh a real killa under style man"
Boie let's just say gyal draws soak (hypothetically speaking)
Yk mi caah mek it look no way so I gave a lil cute grin. He heard the honking of the cars that were passing and asked where I was I told him and he offered to take me home.
Y'all know yah girl Issa whole clown I told him
"No, I'm ok," he said
"Cool," and we said our goodbyes, and that was that.
After about 2 minutes or so. I saw a bright frickin light coming and a loud base booming when mi look nuh Mr.Darkskin. It was so nice of him even though I told him I was ok.
Anyways hear him
"Come in the car nuh b. Why uh stand up a look?" mi gaan in the back inuh caah mi shy.
I then realized he's not driving off so I said,
"A wahm? Uh a wait pan smaddy else?", he said
"A uh mi a wait pan "
Suh mi a seh, "Wait pan mi fih wah?" him seh " Boie mi seet seh uh stubborn asf inuh sunshine but mi love a challenge. Come inah the front".
