Wooyoung basically sprinted towards the door to escape the situation with Yeosang.

He didn't care if it was just the mailman or someone else.

Anyone was better than Yeosang in this moment.

Wooyoung could hear the other boy's footsteps behind him, so he tore the door open and yelled: "Hello, hi, good morning", to the person in front of him.

When he finally came back to his senses though, he paused and shut his mouth.

"Hey, Woo", San said, smiling slightly.

"Who dares to interrupt us?!", Yeosang asked angrily when he caught up to Wooyoung at the door. "You?!?"

Yeosang's expression only grew angrier at the sight of San standing there.

"Wooyoung, I command you to send him home."

"N-no, I can't do thi-", the younger stuttered, but his best friend interrupted him immediately.

"Don't you dare to contradict me, slut. Send. This. Ugly. Man. Home." He grabbed Wooyoung by his shirt and aggressively yanked him forward.

Wooyoung whimpered helplessly. He felt so weak because he didn't have the courage to speak up against Yeosang.

"What the fuck, get off of Wooyoung. You're hurting him! I don't know what your problem is, but he obviously doesn't want to do what you tell him to do, so can't you just leave him the fuck alone?", San intervened, stepping in between his boyfriend and Yeosang.

Protectively, he held Wooyoung in his arms, making sure to keep Yeosang at a safe distance.

"Don't take him away from me! You always do this. Everyone does it. Why can't I keep what I love for once??", the boy screamed at the top of his lungs. Tears started running down his cheeks, but he didn't seem to care. It looked like he was having a breakdown.

He no longer tried to touch Wooyoung, instead he started punching the hard wall next to him, mumbling incomprehensible words to himself while crying heavily.

Wooyoung felt a slight stitch in his heart. Even though, Yeosang scared him, they were best friends for years and it hurt him to see the other boy this wrecked.

He felt how his own cheeks got damp.
"S-Sannie, please help me. Take him away", he cried, desperately clinging onto San's arms and pressing himself against his boyfriend to feel safe and protected.

"What is going on here??"
Wooyoung's mom came running into the hall, probably worried because he heard Yeosang scream.

Wooyoung couldn't get a word out, so San took over to explain what happened.

Yeosang had calmed down a bit by the time, so Hanna carefully escorted him outside and called a taxi for him to drive him home.

When she came back into the house, Wooyoung and San were still standing in the hall, hugging each other. The younger had his arms wrapped around San's torso firmly. He was hiding his face in the older's chest, still crying inaudibly.

From time to time, sobs made his body shake, but San kept rubbing the younger's back with one hand and caressing his neck with the other in an attempt to calm him down.

They were so deep in their own world that they didn't notice how Wooyoung's mom was watching them with a confused expression on her face.

However, they separated slightly when she coughed loudly to get their attention.

"Yeosang is on his way home now. He will be okay", she said.

An uncomfortable silence spread between the three until Hanna spoke up again.

"And who are you?", she asked, staring at San.

The boy stepped away from Wooyoung a little bit to bow. "I'm Choi San, a friend of your son. Nice to meet you."

"A friend?"

"Y-yes, mom", Wooyoung replied quickly. "We met at school and then became friends."

Technically, that wasn't even a lie. They did meet in real life in school. He just left out the part that they knew each other before from Instagram and that they were more than friends now.

"Wooyoung is grounded. He shouldn't have any friends over", his mom stated coldly. Her face didn't show any emotion.

San and Wooyoung were both tense because they didn't know whether she liked San or not.

"But since you kind of saved my son from Yeosang, you can stay here for dinner", she added.

"Huh?", San let out a noise of surprise, but quickly pulled himself together again. "I would love to eat with you."

"Good. I'll prepare the food. You two can do whatever you want, but stay in the living room, please."
