Chapter 24

Kat's POV
3 months later
"Dude, stop squirming!" Vic scolded, as she gripped the curling iron that was currently in my hair.
I sighed, giggling nervously.
"Okay, okay, sorry."
I stared straight ahead as Vic did my hair, my eyes landing on the dress hanging on the door of my hotel room.
I felt happy tears spring to my eyes just thinking about today.
I was marrying the love of my life. I would no longer be Kat Michaels. I would be Mrs. Tyler.
I was broken out of my trance by crying.
My eyes shot over to my little baby girl, Janie, and I started to get up from the chair.
"No, no no! I got it!" Jaz exclaimed, having run in at the proper moment.
I smiled in response, and she walked over to pick up and coddle my 3 month old child.
After a few more minutes, Vic put the iron down and walked in front of me, her hands on her hips proudly.
"Your hair is done. Now, on to your makeup. Don't peek!!" She told me, before making me close my eyes so she could start.
My phone let out a ding, signaling a text message.
"Jaz, what does it say?" I asked my sister.
"Mom says good luck, she loves you, and she hopes to see you soon." Jaz read out loud.
I sighed, smiling slightly.
"Tell her I love her too."
My parents couldn't make it to the wedding because my mom hurt herself, and my dad had to take care of her. But I knew they'd be here in spirit.
I could feel the many makeup brushes on my face, and I relaxed.
After about twenty minutes, Vic sighed.
"Okay, I'm finally done. Don't look at yourself. Put your dress on first." She instructed, and I chuckled.
"What time is it anyway?"
"6:30pm." Vic replied.
I had thirty minutes to mentally prepare for this.
I reached my hanging dress, and gripped the protective cover, unzipping the bag.
The bodice was all lace and strapless, and the skirt flowed out slightly, with a sexy slit up the right leg.
I stepped into it, and a minute later I was standing in front of the mirror, admiring everything.
My hair was curled into tight ringlets in a bun on top of my head, with a few stray pieces let down to frame my face. My makeup was a smoky eye, complete with red lipstick.
"Hot damn, baby! You look beautiful, KitKat." Vic replied, and Jaz just nodded in agreement, utterly speechless from what I could tell.
I smiled. I felt beautiful.
"Is everyone already at the church?" I asked, walking over to take Janie from my sister.
"Yes, everyone's there. Your bridesmaids, the band, Steven." Vic replied, smirking.
My heart fluttered at the mention of my soon to be husband.
I looked down at my baby girl in my arms, and kissed her on the forehead.
"Mommy loves you." I whispered, and she giggled adorably in response.

Steven's POV, 7:00pm
I was so fucking nervous. Standing up at the altar, I felt Joe pat me on the back in support.
"You got this, man." He whispered.
I nodded, not really knowing what to say.
I could see Kat's sister and her best friend sitting in the front row after they had walked down the aisle. I caught my daughter's eye, and winked at her, causing her to smile and giggle.
The music started playing louder, and the doors opened.
There she was.
On the arm of one of her uncles, Kat started to walk down the aisle, and I felt the tears spring to my eyes.
I couldn't even help it, she looked beautiful. I was speechless.

Kat's POV
My heart was beating rapidly as I finally approached Steven at the altar. I kissed my Uncle on the cheek, and grabbed Steven's outstretched hand.
We stood next to each other, and his hand slid softly around my waist.
"You look beautiful. Absolutely stunning, baby." He whispered into my ear.
I blushed, smirking at him.
"You don't look too bad yourself, Mr. Tyler."
We both were silent as the priest started the ceremony.
Steven and I both teared up when we read our vows.
And when it came time to kiss the bride, Steven did it with style, as he does everything in his life.
His hands slid around my waist, dipping me, as our lips met.
Cheers erupted from the guests in the church, and I smiled against the kiss.
"I now pronounce Mr. and Mrs. Tyler."

At the reception, 9pm
Vic grabbed my hand and spun me around playfully as we danced to the song that was playing.
I let out a laugh as I felt two arms circle my waist, and lips kiss my neck.
"Oh, I wonder who it is." I joked, turning around to the smiling face of my beautiful husband.
Steven laughed, and kissed me.
"Come on, there's someone I want you to meet, baby." He said, grabbing my hand, and dragging me along.
We approached the bar, and the mystery person turned around.
My jaw dropped open.
"Kat, baby, I think you know Mr. Johnny Depp." Steven introduced, smirking at my reaction.
Johnny smiled at me, and held out a hand. I shook it, still speechless.
"Nice to meet you, love. Steven's told me all about you."
I giggled, feeling a blush spread to my cheeks.
"Well that's a surprise." I joked, looking at Steven, who winked playfully.
"You guys make a beautiful couple. I never thought this dude would settle down." Johnny joked, patting Steven on the back. I laughed.
"Well, I happen to be very happy that he did." I said, with a grin.

I let out a sigh of ecstasy as I laid my head on Steven's chest while we slow danced.
"What?" Steven asked, letting out a slight chuckle.
I lifted my head up to meet his beautiful chocolate eyes.
"I'm the happiest I've ever been in my whole life. I love you." I admitted.
Steven just assessed me, staring seriously into my eyes. With doing so, his hand found the bottom of my chin, and he lifted it up so our lips met.
We kissed passionately for a couple of minutes, and we both pulled back, breathless, our foreheads pressed together.
"You have the rest of our lives for things like that. I love you just as much, my love." Steven replied, smirking.
I smiled, pulling back as Vic approached us.
"Here, she wants her mommy." Vic explained, handing Janie to me.
I held her in my arms tightly, and Steven's hand slid around my waist, and he placed a kiss on Janie's forehead, then mine.
One, happy family.
And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.
