7:59pm

I stood in my full-length mirror, checking myself out.

I have this tight, medium, dress on. It's black, with a lace arc-open back. I'm wearing my favorite studded heels, and I curled my long hair into waves.

Chris doesn't like much makeup on me, but I figure, why not?

It's a special occasion. So I applied liquid eyeliner and mascara. And red lipstick.

That is the one item of makeup that Chris adores.

A knock on my door breaks me out of my self-assessment.

I walk over, and open the door.

Chris' face lights up, as he looks me over.

"Wow. You look beautiful." He tells me.

"You sure? Not too much makeup?" I ask, unsure.

"It's perfect for the occasion, and for the surprise."

Chris takes my hand, and leads me out to his car.

We get in, and he starts to drive.

I look over at him, with a smile.

"So where are we going?" I ask, holding his hand over the console.

Chris smirks, "You'll see, my love."

I sigh, partly in ecstasy, partly in anxiousness.

I just wanted to know where we were going.

About twenty minutes later, I get my wish of wanting to know where we were headed.

My mouth drops open, and I look at Chris in awe.

"For real?!!" I exclaim.

"It's all for you."

We get out of the car, and cross the street to the venue.

Before we go in, Chris stops me.

"Here's your ticket, and the VIP pass."

I was speechless, so I just nodded.

Chris spent money to take me to an Aerosmith concert. I had wanted to go one ever since I was in high school. I had told him that, too. I can't believe he remembered. He was the sweetest boyfriend I've ever had.

"Where did you get these passes?" I managed to choke out.

"I know people." He smiled down at me, interlocked his fingers with mine, and we walked inside.

We showed a security guard our passes, and he just let us go through to backstage, just like that!

I was in utter shock. I had always dreamed of going backstage at a concert. Especially an Aerosmith concert, and now it was happening, and my feelings were a mixture of happy, excited, nervous, and all of these other ones.

The only thing that would make this better would be meeting Steven Tyler.

Chris gripped my hand tighter, and I smiled. I kissed him on the lips quickly, so immensely happy.

Chris smirked. "Let's go." He started pulling me forward.

"Where are we goin?" I asked, as I followed him.

"You'll see, babe."

A few minutes later, we reached a hallway, and Chris flashed something else at the security guard standing outside the door we were in front of.

I'm guessing it was good, because the guy nodded, and opened the door.

I was blindly following my boyfriend, and the minute we stepped inside, I lost all speech or feeling in my body.

Sitting, and standing in front of me, were the members of my favorite band. Joe Perry was sitting on the couch, strumming his famous Les Paul. Joey was on his phone, texting with a smile. Tom and Brad were in a conversation. And then there was Steven Tyler, who was the first one to look up at us.

"Hey guys!" He said, standing up from the chair he was sitting on, and walking towards us.

I felt somewhat faint, but I managed to stay on my feet. I don't know how though. The man I've adored since I was 15 was standing right in front of me. I'm 22 now. So that's a long time.

Steven looked at me, then at Chris.

"You're Chris, right? Taj said he spoke to you."

My mouth dropped open yet again.

"What the hell is going on?" I blurted out.

I had meant for that to be a thought inside my head, but it came out of my mouth.

Steven smirked at me, and I noticed the way he was looking me over, and it excited me.

"Your boyfriend mentioned that it was a special occasion, and that his girlfriend would love to have all access to her favorite band. So my son and Chris here, worked it all out."

I tried to hide my blush at that. Now he knew they were my favorite band.

I looked up at Chris. "I can't believe you did this for me." I said to him, a smile on my face.

I looked back at Steven, whose gaze hadn't left me since we entered the room.

"So what's your name?" He asked.

"Kat."

"Cute name, sugar. Would you guys mind a drink?" Steven spoke, looking between us.

"Sure, I--" I started to say.

"We're fine." Chris said.

I shut up, smiling at Steven.

"Guess we're fine." I said.

Steven was eyeing me with a look I couldn't decipher.

He checked his phone then.

"Well, the show's starting in five minutes. I hope you guys enjoy it. Nice meeting you."

Steven leaned in, and hugged me. His hands were on my waist, and his mouth close to my cheek. I could feel my heart pounding, and I'm sure he could too. In a split second, his lips had grazed my cheek, and we were apart, distance between us again.

"See you guys. Bye beautiful." Steven says. The rest of the guys, who hadn't said much of anything in those few minutes, just waved.

Chris and I exited hand in hand, and I let out a breath. That was amazing.

"So?" Chris looked down at me with a cute smile.

"It was perfect. Let's go find a spot for the show." I replied, pulling him along.

The show was more amazing than I ever expected. The band was amazing, and I understood why people, including me, loved them. They put on quite the show.

Especially Steven.

'Kat, what the hell? Stop thinking about Steven!'

I couldn't help it though. He was so beautiful. And I couldn't get my mind off of the little gesture between us.

But it was probably nothing. Rockstars didn't like normal girls like me. It was fine, I'm good with that. I have an amazing boyfriend.

But saying that, my mind still roamed to thoughts of Steven.

Damn it.
