Hoping For A Good Outcome

Back at home With Dr.Flug's gift in hand the atmosphere was very heavy with regrets, emptiness and multiple other things that were hard to describe but also hope lingered. Despite that surprisingly enough without Dr.flug here it felt very lonely even though 5.0.5 and Dementia were there. Both were kinda sulking as Dementia didn't leave her room much and 5.0.5 got up long enough to eat and go to the restroom then went back to his place in the mansion.

I got frequent calls from the hospital with status updates on Flug he was improving but, very lethargic from the pain medicine being used to ease the after effects of the demon magic that took hold. He had to stay another night as some of his injuries had reopened but, luckily nothing lethal had happened from it.

I'm worried about him especially sense he was nearly at death's door before we got him to the hospital. When I checked his lab the sheer damage from the attack would take months to repair if not the rest of the year. My carpentry skills are mediocre at best and the material used for the lab was very expensive to buy and even harder to get as it came from overseas. Looks like I'm going to have to take over the orders for a while. Luckily for me the blueprints and lab tools were intact so I didn't have to buy new ones just yet but, planned to after I find out the final results on Dr.Flug's condition. I'm hoping for a very good outcome. He's strong despite everything that life has thrown at him and that unfamiliar feeling of love towards him was a good indicator that his will was very strong to get past this situation he was currently in.

Man it feels weird having this feeling of love towards my scientist who I originally hired because he was in need and had the skills I had been looking for. I never intended to gain feelings as I thought it wasn't possible for someone like me to feel. The only emotions I felt for so long was evil, satisfaction from doing evil and revenge towards all humanity as they treated creatures like me with distaste, anger, the thrill of the hunt and murdering of my kind as well greed as others used creatures with power as cash cows to make a quick buck.

Children on the other hand gave us a chance and were fascinated by us and wanted to learn about us. We didn't hate that fact but, we cautioned them not to get too close as the innocence was quickly crushed as they got older and they became corrupt in their own way. There are some adults that remain respectful of more powerful beings and those are the ones I respect the most. Even demons can have a kind side when treated with respect as demons have teamed up with humans at certain points in history.

We remain feared due to our resilience against things that would kill normal people easily but, we're not entirely immune to sickness and major injuries we can go down it just takes a little longer. For Dr.Flug's case with him being mostly human he could parish a lot faster even with the demon power. Just hang in there flug don't go down by this please.
