*Blackhat's P.O.V*

This is gettting ridiculous! All these books that supposedly have information on creatures of the night and transformation abilities and not one has the information I need to help Flug!? I've reread them at least ten times cover to cover each and have them literally memorized and nothing tells me what I can do to help except to kill the individual as a mercy or chain them up like a animal until they self destruct on themselves and neither of those options I wanted to do and with me unable to find any information on flug's parents except the fact that they went "missing" during a trip which I found quite odd and had caused a sinking feeling when I read that word because "missing" when it comes to supernatural stuff usually translated to it being something the government was hiding and almost always meant that they were either in scientist's hands or dead somewhere.

Regardless of what happened I don't want Flug to have the same fate as I've grown quite attached however I didn't dare admit it just yet especially since I was unsure if they were true feeling or yet another ruse thanks to what I am. For now I would ignore that though as I needed to get some actual sleep and not just a power nap as I was barely staying awake and had already passed out twice on my desk in the library. I may be a eldritch being but, even I have my limits and I know I've reached it. If I countinue like this I won't be able to control my powers and they will go rampant. I'd have no control over what happens which could cause the destruction of the house or kill the few people I actually cared about even if I didn't show it. I have to keep up the evil demon facade until I felt safe enough to show that I did care in my own way even if it didn't seem like it.

As I exited the library I could hear a sound of slight alarm as I spotted Dementia running off to her room as well as 5.0.5's own sound of surprise before I saw his blue fur quickly go behind a corner and into the living room. I really wasn't surprised to see that the two had literally been watching the library door for who knew how long as I had lost track of time however the one person I didn't see was Flug which made me on edge. Soon after I checked the one area he always went to though finding him wasn't as comforting as I would have hoped. The smell of blood was strong and it was coming from Flug himself. Realizing this I was at his side in seconds as I could see said blood running down his arm as claws and fur receded back to a human hand while the jewelry glowed to do its job of keeping the beast within Flug at bay.

This of course concerned me more then I wanted to admit though I didn't have a lot of time to think about it as shortly after Flug apologized for the blood on the floor and then said he would clean it up later however right after he went to stand he had stumbled and then shook his head as if he was having trouble focusing before his legs suddenly buckled and was falling. I had reacted quicker than I thought I would in my tired state and managed to catch him before he hit the ground.

As I held him I relized he was burning up again and unlike last time where he gave some semblance of response he was completely unresponsive to my attempts at waking him up and right after his head turned limply sideways which sent a spark of fear into me. Before my thoughts could catch up to me I was running out of the lab and to flug's room where his specially made bed was and layed him in it as it got to work to figure out what ailed its owner however when the results printed out it was not good.

On the sheet Flug's heart rate was way above normal levels and he had a fever of 100 and on top of that it appeared Flug had updated the software to accommodate the new development already and it read in all caps TAKE OVER OF CREATURE IMMINATE ADVISED LOCK UP. Reading this my mind instantly spiraled and though I could help keep the beast entertained temporarily the damage it caused to its host was extreme till the host had it under control and Flug didn't.

I didn't have many choices one I could take the advice and do something I hated doing when it came to the residence here in the manor and that was to strap down Flug with the restraints that he had added to his own bed in case of one of his manic episodes or I could take him to my room and keep him near as I had the ability to make myself cold as ice and had enough strength to keep the beast subdued. The choice to me was obvious I just hoped Flug didn't freak out with what I was about to do when he woke up. With my decision set I had grabbed a few of Flug's ice pads and took him to my room.

After I laid down I had placed Flug who had started breathing more heavily and was now sweating on top of my sleepwear before removing his bag just enough to where he could breath easier without being suffocated by it and couldn't help wincing at just how warm he had gotten in the short period of time. After that I had got to work on letting my cooling ability take hold and placed the ice pads on Flug's forehead through the bag as well as his chest area. All I could do now was hope what I was doing was enough until he woke up. With that being my final thoughts I had gone to sleep in mere minutes and held Flug in place with my arm over his stomach area so he didn't fall off.
