3rd person POV

After finally getting dressed in something that's not his suit finally, Nanami comes downstairs into the kitchen to find Naomi there still going. She hears his footsteps and turns to him "Look at you you can't be Kento Nanami looking this fine." She laughs teasing him. This makes a blush come over Nanami's face "yeah well you told me to look nice." He says shrugging his shoulders. She nods turning back to the food "Some of the students are already here. And I think-" Naomi is cut off by a voice "Something smells good Mimi." They hear. "Thank you Gojo. Glad to know you still use your emergency key." She says putting emphasis on emergency and putting on a smile. Coming in behind him They see Itadori, Nobara, and Fushiguro. The woman smiles to all of them "It's good to see all of you again. I'm almost done here, so you guys can go in the back and have some drinks. Ken can you go start the grill baby?" She asked him and he nodded. The two of them share a kiss before him and the kids find their way outside leaving just her and Gojo in the kitchen.

"You need any help with anything?" He asks making her shake her head "Nope like I told them I'm almost done." She says not taking her eyes off the food. "This is a really amazing house you guys have got here. Can't help but think how it would've been different. You know, if me and you would've worked." He says almost whispering the last part. Naomi signs tilting her head back "He's treating you right isn't he?" Gojo keeps on "Yes he is Satoru. Me and you didn't work out because you couldn't give up the hoes." Naomi says moving around the kitchen "And that was college. We're adults now and we're all friends. I'm with Kento and I'm sure you still have your fill of different women every night. So let's just leave that alone." She sighs.

Back in college before Gojo and Naomi met Nanami they were dating. Only for s few months but it ended badly since Gojo couldn't keep it in his pants. Ultimately the two decided to stay friends, which Gojo did not agree with. He wanted to try again but being as stubborn as Naomi is, she wasn't having any of it. After They met Nanami their friendship went back to being just that, friends. Still though, you can't replace a woman like Naomi. She's perfect. After Naomi said her words Gojo went quiet "Are you just gonna sit there mute now or are you gonna help me take these Pans out back?" She ask and he nods walking over to help her.

The two of them come back outside both smiling. It seemed like nothing was spoken about in the kitchen. They laid the pans on the picnic table before sitting down on one of the chairs. The sun was out but it wasn't too terribly hot. Perfect weather for an event like this. She looked around and saw everyone talking and laughing until she felt two hands on her shoulders. Naomi turned suddenly to be met with the eyes of her husband. Her face softened and she smiles "Don't be scaring me like this. You almost caught a right hook." The laugh together before Naomi's hands move up and hold his. Kento leans down placing a living kiss on her forehead and Naomi whispers to him "Go around and Mingle with people. And be nice." She says looking in his eyes "You owe me remember? She says and he nods sighing. The two of them share a kiss that lasted a little bit longer than it should before he walked off.

As Nanami walked off Naomi couldn't help but feel eyes on her. When she looked around she was met with Gojo's gaze. When he realized they locked eyes he quickly looked away and went over to join the kids. Naomi took a breath "Calm down Mimi. You'll talk to Ken about it later. Just relax and let everyone have a good time." She said to herself before standing up and walking over to everyone. "Anyone know how to play spades?" She asks smiling
