Raymond and Frank were patroling the city. They saw a boy a couple of meters in front of them, who stopped his walk, without noticing their presence. He began to look around as if making sure he was alone, and with a green glow he brought back to life some wilted flowers in the window of a house. He kept on walking. Blocks later, the young man found a lady walking her dog. It was tugging at her and barking at all the people who passed, but she did not take her eyes off her cell phone. The boy came over to pet the animal, which became meek. He took a cookie from his pocket, broke it, and gave half to the dog. Then he went to the woman, forced her to put her cell phone away and encouraged her to give the rest of the prize to her pet. The boy continued on his way.
He came to an alley and was helping a cat tangled in clothesline ropes, when his observers informed him of their presence. The boy turned to them with suspicion and fear that they had discovered him. But before anyone said anything, a large Shadow appeared blocking the only exit from the alley. The Guardians were about to take action, when the mystery boy stepped forward with a sword in his right hand and began to fight the Shadow. He delivered blow after blow until the Dark soldier knocked him down.
- Are you okay? - Raymond asked the young man, who had ended up against a garbage container.
- Well, you already showed us your power. Now it's our turn - said Frank as, with the other Guardian, they drew swords.
Their outfits changed from mere civilian clothes to their combat outfits in an elemental wave. The boy looked at them in surprise. The Guardians attacked the Shadow and neutralized it in less time than it took the boy to be defeated.
- Who are you? - asked this last, sitting up.
- Right, we did not introduce ourselves. I'm Raymond Tesla, and my partner here, Frank Nightfall - the blond extended his hand -. And you?
- Eren. Eren Fourtrealm - he took the Lightning Guardian's hand.
- So, Eren, we've seen what you can do and we want to know... - Frank paused dramatically - Do you want to join the Guardians?
- Guardians? - asked Eren.
- Yes, Guardians of the Elements. I am the Guardian of the Electricity and Frank of the Darkness.
- Were you the Fifth Horseman? - Eren said startled, clutching his hand to the handle of his sword, preparing to attack Frank at the slightest sign of hostility.
- It's true, I was a herald of Darkness - Frank replied - But, as you saw, not anymore.
Eren thought about his answer for a while.
- Okay, I'll join the Guardians.
- Excellent. And what is your sword called? - asked Raymond.
- What?
- You know, the voice of your sword. Mine is Finity.
- And mine, Filo - Frank added.
- She has no name, although I call her Tami.
- Nice name - Raymond remarked - Well, shall we go?
- Yes - answered the other two.
The three of them sheathed swords and left the alley. But Eren saw the poor cat that he had saved, the Shadow left it on the brink of death. He approached to it and, with the same green gleams as before, brought the feline back to life.
- You have great power, Life Guardian - whispered the female voice from his sword, Tami.
