Chapter 1

Darcy

"I'm sure he missed you so much Darcy, just believe in your heart," Sarah said as she helped me comb my hair while I sighed heavily hoping she was right about that.

"But it's been so long, and after so many years, I don't know that Sarah, I'm just scared what if he already has some girl or maybe a child," I broke down in tears, as I held my chest tightly.

"Stop it, Darcy, you know it's not stated anywhere that he's married, just catch your flight and go get your man, you need not to worry yourself about anything," she cheered me with her face filled with smiles.

"Why are you so confident, or are you a fortune teller," I asked her with my brows perked up.

"Let's just say, what's meant to be would be," she said and winked at me while I smile at her, staring at my face in the mirror in front of me.

"I love you, babe, much," I said to her on seeing how pretty she made me look.

Thank me even you get your man, she stated and helped me drag my luggage out of the room.

"Remember I'm always here and I can take the next flight to come see you whenever you need me right," she stated immediately we arrived at the hotel and I nodded my head feeling a bit nervous about the whole idea of going to get my true love.

"I feel so nervous and scared Sarah, I don't think this is a good idea," I ranted on her face and she steps on my foot looked more angrier than I am, causing me to choke on my spit.

"Now you listen to me young lady, you turn around with your luggage and get on that plane to see the man your heartbeat for, and don't just go get him, make sure you win him over to love you okay," she said and patted my back, before gesturing for me to move which I did as instructed feeling a little more confident.

"You can do this Darcy," I said to myself as the grip on my luggage got tighter, I turn back to stare at Sarah and she waved her hands smiling genuinely at me.

There's no going back on this, it's time to come see you, and this time I would make sure you are mine completely, I thought, and step on the plane.

Fredrick

"Fredrick up, you have a meeting to catch up with," I heard mom voice in my sleep, I groaned inwardly as I rolled to the other side of the bed using the pillow to cover my ears, while I shut my eyes close tightly.

"Fredrick,  you ate late for an important meeting," she screamed causing me to jump out of the bed, I stare at the wall clock and I pinched the wall angrily as I dashed into the bathroom to have my bath, while I heard mom chuckled.

"It's not funny mom," I yelled as I scrub my body hurriedly.

"I brought out your clothes, and food is ready, hurry up and get downstairs," I heard her say as her voice slowly faded away.

I got out, dressed up quickly, gel my hair, and picked up my briefcase after glancing at myself from the mirror one last time.

I groan as I remembered how hard I worked last night, I needed to impress me Jordan since u had no reliable PA yet.

I sat close to dad, open my plates and moan out at the wonderful aroma of the dish in front of me, I picked up my fork and dug in immediately in hurry, as much as I really want to enjoy the meal, I really need to be at work before Mr. Jordan arrives.

"Bye mom, bye dad," I said and pegged their cheeks while they smile at me.
"Good luck with your meeting son," mom screamed loud enough for me while I waved her again, before driving out.

"Morning sir," those were the words that hover around the place as I walked into the company, and got to my private elevator, ignoring them.

I arrived at my office and settled into the office, after scanning through some files on the desk and still thinking about Mr. Jordan.

Few minutes, I got a call from my receptionist who informed me about their presence, I smiled and glanced at my briefcase, which had the necessary idea I need.

Welcome Mr. Jordan, I gave him my warm greetings as he walked into the office with his assistant while I put on my best smile.

"Shall we begin?" I asked him and he nods his head while I presented the information to him.

"I really like the ideas and deal you brought up Mr. Fredrick, I will think about your proposal adequately and get back to you," Mr. Jordan said as we shook our hands.

I hope we get a positive response, I thought and watch them leave my office.

Darcy

I hugged myself as I sat on the plane, my mind had drifted away back to the a long time ago, I had remembered the time I didn't with Frederick when we were back in high school, it was our second date and he really wanted to impress me but the thing's kept going the wrong way.

I dried my eyes quickly, I didn't want to cry because I had promised Sarah not to, I sighed heavily and stare outside, looking at the clouds as a smile crept on my face.

I brought out my phone and stare at the time on my phone, the pilot had just made the announcement and in a few minutes we would be landing.

I breathe out , as I suddenly felt happy about being in here, I rubbed my palms against each other softly as I got down from the plane.

I dragged my luggage along with me when I bumped into a girl and made sure I apologize to her.

I stood at the roadside waiting for gab as I breathe out softly enjoying the feeling of being in a new environment.

I'm coming for you my love, I mumbled as I got into the cab.
