It was half past 2 at night. The door knob was slowly turned clockwise to be opened without making sounds. The door was opened and Hussain came inside the house. He tiptoed to avoid making any noise that would wake up the sleeping people.

He walked to one of the rooms near the kitchen and turned the door slowly. The door opened and he saw his brothers sleeping. He smiled seeing them sleep peacefully. He closed the door slowly and then opened the door of another room next to it. He saw his mother and young sisters sleeping together. That was enough for him to smile more.

After closing the room's door slowly, he went straight into the kitchen. He was so hungry as he didn't eat well at the shooting spot. He searched in every vessel on the kitchen counter but unfortunately all the food was already finished.

He was literally starving that he cursed himself for not eating the food his friend brought for him earlier in the afternoon. Fortunately or unfortunately, there was only a small quantity of cooked rice left in the cooker.

He got a sudden idea of something. Firstly, he boiled some water. After the water was boiled, he took an egg from the refrigerator and put it in the boiling water for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, he took out the egg and broke its shell…. It became a hard boiled egg. He put the egg on a plate with the rice. He then sprinkled some salt and added some soy sauce onto the rice. That's it… That was his dinner today.
(I bet you would have guessed this is how my cooking skills are by this 😜😂 But for real, I can cook at least a little more well😂)

Even though it wasn't a grand and heavy dinner, he was just happy that no one was disturbed and he had something to eat at the same time.

"Aaha....Enna taste yaa! En samaiyalum nallathaan irukku😗😃", he said to himself while he was eating. Isn't this self confidence makes him more bold and brave to overcome the challenges he faces….

After having dinner…. well, self made dinner, he changed his clothes into a singlet and shorts. He took out a mat near the refrigerator and spread it out in the hall along with a pillow and a blanket. He laid himself on the mat and got ready to sleep. But somehow, he couldn't sleep. Although he was tired from the dance rehearsals and shooting, he couldn't sleep at that time as his mind was occupied with many things.

He stared at the ceiling for a long time while his mind made him think about everything in his life. Being the eldest in the family has always been a disadvantage to him. While his father is away for work, Hussain, being the man of the family, should take care of everything. Even though his father's salary was just enough to run the family, Hussain still had to use his low-receiving salary for the family. But not even for a nanosecond, he has thought that as a burden. And that is what he is. Gold-hearted. Being a student and a dancer at the same time too was very difficult for him to handle. But his parents, being the full support of Hussain, made him able to overcome everything.

Although his parents were his biggest support, he felt guilty of not spending much time with his family, especially his mother. He knew she wasn't happy with her son being in Cinema but still she never said a word against his dreams. She knew he loves dancing and he knew he should never let her down at any point of life. That was the equation between them. A beautiful and unsaid equation…..

Not just his mother, but his father too. Even if he's far away from home, he keeps checking on Hussain everyday. To be honest, Hussain's father was Hussain's inspiration to follow his own dreams. Hussain's father was never able to fulfill his own wishes and achieve his dream. So he never said a 'No' to any of his children's dreams and wishes. Hussain wanted to do something just to return all the love and support his parents started to give him since he started his dancing career 3 years back but he had no idea what to do or how to do it.

Deep down in his heart, he knew he would definitely do something which would make his family proud.

As he was thinking all of these, somehow, even without his knowledge, sleep had consumed him long ago.

To Be Continued.....
