"There's a really big storm up ahead and if you get caught up in it, there's no place to seek shelter for miles. So try to hurry here Taehyung-ah.",

Sighing Taehyung gave a passive affirmative reply as he placed his phone down. Even without getting a warning from one Taehyung's "brothers", it was quite apparent from the dark dusky hue that befell and completely engulfed a beautifully sunny day. The dark sky flickered with lightning spontaneously as the clouds grumbled.

Taehyung's eyes fluttered towards Eunhye who sat next to him, trying to guage her reaction. It took him no time to realise she didn't like storms as he could see her dark brown orbs focused on the clouds up above, illuminating once in a while as it reflected the thunderstorm enraging in the clouds.

Feeling the stare on her, she turned to see Taehyung studying her and as soon as they made contact, he abruptly looked away and focused on the road ahead. For the past two and a half hours of the insufferable trip with her husband who apparently harboured passionately feeling of hatred for her, Eunhye kept to herself. She had always been a quiet girl and enjoyed silence but this car ride with Taehyung proved as a new revelation.

They were just about to reach Daegu and Eunhye could feel her homesickness dissipating as well as arising at the same time. She couldn't help but squirm in her seat as the thoughts of meeting her grandmother and going back home after months excited her. She contemplated asking Taehyung to let them visit for once or maybe he had already planned to make a visit. So, Eunhye would be lying if she said she wasn't anticipating it.

"Is your family home further up ahead in Daegu ? If it is then if you don't mind, we could make a stop at my-" , before she could even complete her sentence, Taehyung interrupted her.

"It's not that far. Just a ten minutes ride as soon as we enter Daegu, so don't worry much. We are already running late and hyung said everyone is expecting us so we don't need to make a stop and cause further delay."

Leaving no room for further conversation, Eunhye compelled herself not to get disheartened and cheered herself by convincing herself that she would talk to Taehyung about it once again.

Thankfully, they were able to reach the family estate. Even in the impeding darkness of the night, Eunhye could still make out rought outlines of its hugeness. Taehyung pulled in over at the front of a large metal gate as the intercom blared to life. As Taehyung talked through the intercom to the security personnels, Eunhye could feel herself get nervous. New people and new places made her uncomfortable. But ever since she came to Seoul, all she has been doing is facing her fears.

Soon after the automatic gates slided open and they drove inside the gravel path towards the illuminated mansion that came into view. All the time Eunhye was busy in her thoughts or busy admiring the landscape, Taehyung was getting nervous eventually. It had been years since he hadn't stepped foot into his family home ever since he severed any kind of familial ties with his father.

Stepping foot back to this place, unearthed bittersweet memories, them being more bitter than it was ever sweet. He didn't know if he could face the man who was his father without getting angry and losing the last bit of sanity he had intact for agreeing to come back here.

"Do I need anything to keep in mind before greeting your family?", Eunhye asked, in a small voice, as they stepped out of the car, her hands fidgeting with her bag and her overcoat.

"You don't need to care about those. I don't care about their feelings and if you somehow hurt theirs, I would be glad.", Taehyung chuckled as he retrieved his phone from the car seat and slid it unto his pant pocket.
