You were alone today.

Turns out she caught a cold and wasn't able to attend school.

I approached you with a big smile.

We finally got to spend time together.

But there was one thing....

It was awkward.

It felt like we were forcing ourselves to talk to each other for the sake of friends.

And I didn't want that. I wanted us to talk normally like we used to.

I didn't want to pretend.

I made an excuse and left you alone again.
