Amber Opal Newton was raised with hockey. So were her siblings Henry and Cassandra. Their dad loved hockey and almost played pro until he hurt his leg before the season started. By the time he was fully healed, he wanted to settle down and have a family. He met the girl he wanted to make 'Mrs. Newton' and they had 3 children. He taught them all about hockey.
Henry loves being on the ice with a hockey stick and puck, he always has. Cassandra on the other hand, liked the skating aspect of it but not as much the hockey part. She always considered herself too girly to like it. Amber is a mix of her two older siblings. She loves hockey more than anything but is way into all of the girly things her sister loves. This helped her stay close with her brother and sister. She could go shopping and gossip with Cassandra but also play hockey and watch sports with Henry. She had a good bond with both of them. Cassandra and Henry weren't the closest but Amber always brought them together. They were basically just a great, picture perfect family.
Amber grew up playing hockey on the pond in their neighborhood. She played with Henry and her friends Grace, Ross, and Bradley. Grace was her best friend out of the three. They knew everything about each other, from their favorite color to their deepest fear. Ross was the brother of the terrible Rick Riley but that didn't stop him from being the nicest person Amber has ever met. Ross was the peace keeper whenever there was bickering between the group. Bradley was the popular one of their group. That was because he was the class clown and never failed to make everyone laugh.
Amber had a great group of friends which she had known since elementary school. Now going into high school, what will happen between them?
