"Ooh, what a cutie~" A woman with mousey brown hair and a purple witch's hat cooed, eyeing you up and down like a predator looking at prey. You flashed a charming smile at her and ran a hand through your hair, and Kaeya chuckled. After a while of walking with Kaeya, you had entered the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, and were now being scrutinized by two powerful-looking women. It might seem scary to someone else, but to you this was just another Monday. Another tall woman with soft blonde hair made an unsure noise and folded her arms, staring at you warily.
"Kaeya, are you sure you can handle keeping watch on them? I really don't mind taking Y/N in for the night."
"You already have enough on your plate, Jean. I'm more than happy to keep our mysterious guest company~" Kaeya glanced at you and winked, patting you on the shoulder. Jean bit her lip nervously and tapped her foot on the ground, then sighed and nodded.
"Alright...I trust you."
"By the way, I swear I'm not a serial killer or anything. Everyone here is looking at me really weirdly." You piped up, rocking back and forth on your heels. "And I'm not a thief, either, but I have stolen a lot of people's hearts."
"Whatever the case, we need to keep watch on you to make sure that what you're saying is true. I need to know I can trust you for you to be able to stay here, or even come back here during your travels." Jean said sternly. You raised your eyebrows, but nodded, placing a hand on your hip. The brown haired woman smiled at you almost seductively, leaning over the railing that she was behind and observing you carefully.
"I'm Lisa, the librarian here. If you want to do some midnight reading while you're here, I'll make sure to take good care of you and give Kaeya a little break~"
"I might just sneak out to see you alone, Miss Lisa." You chuckled and adjusted the strap of your bag, winking at Lisa. Jean sighed heavily and sat back down at her desk, folding her hands together and staring down at them. Your eyes flickered over to her and you hummed, tilting your head and smiling genuinely.
"Don't worry, Grand Master Jean. I'll behave myself and won't cause trouble for you."
Jean glanced up at you tiredly and smiled faintly, her expression seeming to relax a bit. "Thank you..."
"Alright, snowflake, let's head to bed, shall we?" Kaeya hummed and opened the door for you, making you turn your head. You nodded and then turned your head back around, beaming and bowing flamboyantly.
"Goodnight, ladies. Sleep well."
"Goodnight, Y/N."
"Night night, honey~"
You laughed softly and stood back up, then spun around on your heel and walked out of the room. Kaeya shut the door and walked in front of you, whistling merrily and heading up a set of stairs. You paused momentarily, then followed him, looking around you. Paintings and sculptures decorated the second floor of the building, dust particles floating in the moonbeams passing through the windows. The light of the lamps lit up parts of the floor dimly, and you couldn't help but be marveled at the intricate details of this place.
"There a way to permanently live here?"
Kaeya laughed at your question and glanced back at you, opening a door and flamboyantly gesturing. "Trying out to become a Knight of Favonius has its perks. But if you become my lover, you can stay here for as long as you want~"
"Tempting offer. I'll think it over." You snorted and walked into the room, your eyes wandering around the gorgeously designed space. A transparent canopy hung over a soft-looking bed with plush pillows, illuminated by the moonlight gleaming from the balcony. Intricately carved marble tiles adorned the floor, along with small carvings on the bedframe. You instantly felt drowsier at the sight of this comfortable, luxurious room, and flopped onto the bed, sighing peacefully. "Wow."
You heard the blue-haired man chuckle softly behind you. You lifted your head up to be met with his face, pale aqua eyes connected with yours. A mysterious sparkle shone in his pupils and he smirked, brushing your hair out of your face with a gloved hand.
"You know, you're quite enchanting, my shining little snowflake. I really do want to know more about you."
You grinned tiredly and pushed Kaeya's hand away from your face, your eyelids growing heavy with every breath. "Nice try. You'll have to wait until tomorrow to get any information out of me, Mr. Kaeya. It's night night time for Y/N."
Kaeya shrugged and playfully poked your forehead, stepping back and settling into a chair next to you. "It was worth a shot. Sleep well, sweetheart."
You gave him a thumbs up and then buried your head in a pillow, promptly falling asleep. "Thanks...you too..."
