Inferno Hearts (Complete)

Nine months later...

These nine months have flown by and a lot has happened.

I'm ready to pop and baby girl will be here soon since I'm sitting in the hospital waiting for my contractions to get stronger.

Sunny had her little boy that she named George Desmond Rhodes and he looks just like DJ.

Axel loves him and Summer so I know he is going to be a great big brother. 

Our family was so happy to learn we were having another baby. My dad has gone crazy with buying girl stuff. He's already painted the nursery pink of course.

Morgan and Trace have Axel right now since mom and dad are here with me. Morgan is so good with him and he loves his Aunt Morg and Tace. He just can't say Trace yet.

The nurse came in to check me and I'm seven centimeters and I'm ready to go.

Tony and Jessa are still going strong. He proposed to her but thankfully she's not rushing the wedding so I have plenty of time to work on her dress.

Of course, I am her Matron of Honor but she will be making the dress. She graduated college but put that on hold to be my partner at the shop.

Tony ended up moving in with her and Carly because she didn't want to leave her mom alone and the three of them are happy.

Jax walks over to the bed where I am. "Are you ok Lanie?"

"I am! I am ready for her to be born and was just thinking back to the last nine months." I smile at him.

He moves hair off of my forehead and leans down and kisses my lips. "I love you so much, Lanie. I never dreamed we would be here again but I'm so happy."

"I love you too Jax. I hope this is the last one because we are going to have our hands full and Axel is almost in his terrible twos." I laugh.

The nurse walks back in and checks me an hour later and I'm at nine centimeters. "Almost time." She smiled.

Jax sits down in the chair beside me and holds my hands. "You know my heart only beats for you and these kids."

"I feel the same way. When we first kissed on the beach my heart was like a burning inferno for you and it's never stopped, Jax." I smiled.

He stands up and kisses me again on the lips.

"Alright, guys are you going to try and have another baby before this one gets here?" Dad laughs.

"Oh, hush dad. We are having a loving moment between us before our lives are turned upside down." I laugh.

"I'm just picking. That's how I was with your mom when Morgan was born. I couldn't be like that with her when you were born because we were barely friends then." He laughed.

"Did you look between her legs before kissing her?" Jax laughed asking.

"Hell no! I stayed at her head. We didn't know each other that way." Dad laughed.

A little bit later the nurse came back in and said I was at ten centimeters and it was time to push and I was ready to get this show on the road.

Dad went behind the curtain and just like last time mom held my leg and Jax held my hand and I pushed around three times and she came out screaming and crying.

Winter Paige Carver came screaming into the world weighing in at 7lbs 1oz looking just like her daddy.

Jax cut the cord and they laid her on my chest. It was love at first sight.

Dad came out from behind the curtain after I was cleaned and covered up. "What's her name?"

"Winter Paige Carver." I smile.

"Morgan is going to flip her shit." Mom laughed.

"Yes, she is. When I came back here Morgan helped me more than she ever knows and her calls when I was in California are something I looked forward to and helped me to stay alive." I said.

"Well that is special and she's beautiful even if she looks like Jax." Dad laughed.

A little while later Dee and Anthony showed up with Tony and Jessa and then Morgan and Trace.

"Where is Axel?" I asked.

"With Sunny." Morgan smiled.

I wanted to tell them her name altogether while she was being passed around.

"Her name is Winter Paige Carver," I said.

Morgan put her hand over her mouth and her eyes were big. "You named her after me?"

"Of course I did. You are the best little sister I could ever ask for and Winter will be one blessed girl to have you as an Aunty." I said.

Sunny knocked on the door bringing Axel in.

Jax took Axel from Sunny and he pointed at the baby. "That's your baby sister Axel. isn't she pretty?"

"Yes! Baby!" He clapped.

"That's Winter. Can you say, Winter Axel? I asked him.

"Baby Win!" He laughed.

Jax put him in the bed with me and I held Winter but let her legs be on his lap and he was so happy. He kissed her head and smiled.

I looked around the room at all of the faces that I love and for the people that say you can't go home again are wrong.

I met the love of my life and have two beautiful children and the best family I could ever ask for.

Jax leaned down and kissed me. "You did so well Lanie. I'm proud of you and I love you and I finally get one that looks like me."

I kissed his lips a few times like no one else was in the room but the two of us. "I love you with all of my heart Jax."

"I couldn't love you more Lanie if I tried." He said kissing me a few more times before kissing Axel and Winter's heads.
