"Dolores Jane Umbridge has replaced Albus Dumbledore as HEAD of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" I read out loud so the others would hear.

I looked over at Harry with a worried look that we both shared. I felt Draco hold onto my hand to reassure me.

"It'll be okay, we'll find a way to fix this," He said.

I wanted to believe him, I wanted to believe that we'll wake up tomorrow and this would have just been a very horrible and long nightmare but I knew once the stinging in my arm happened, things were only going to get worse.

Things at Hogwarts changed, all the paintings on the walls were being removed the castle looked almost soulless and empty from the inside.

All the students that were a part of the DA were being punished by having to write with the quills that Umbridge gave them. Everyone but Theo, Blaise, Draco and I.

We were in the room when they were being punished, making sure none of them went against Umbridge's rules. I can see how visibly uncomfortable the boys were watching the people they had become friends with being tortured. I looked over at Harry who looked back at me.

I couldn't help but signal him to allow me to tell Umbridge that I was in on it too but he only slightly shook his head and went back to the writing.

I went towards the boys and they all made it clear they wanted to tell Umbridge as well.

"It's not fair to them, any of them" Theo whispered.

"We should be sitting there with them, we went against her rules" Blaise whispered.

"The twins look miserable" Draco whispered.

"As much as I want to tell Umbridge as well, I think it's best if we don't, think about it... if she has anything else planned we'll be the first to know, we can warn them and keep them safe, it's the least we can do after not being punished with them" I whispered.

When everyone was done and leaving, everyone avoided Marietta who had been standing outside. They all walked past her without a word said or even a look towards her way.

The following day the trio and I were all visibly upset about what had happened.

"You did everything you could, No one could win against that old hag," Ron said.

"Even Dumbledore didn't see this coming" Hermione said.

"Harry, Y/n, if it's anyone's fault it's ours" Hermione added.

"Yeah, we talked you into it," Ron said.

"Yeah, but we both agreed," I said.

"We tried so hard to help and all it's done is make things worse," Harry said.

"Anyway, that doesn't matter anymore, because I don't want to play anymore, all it does is make you care too much," Harry said.

"And the more you care, the more you have to lose," I said.

"So maybe it's just better to..."

"To what?" Hermione said.

"To go it alone," Harry said.

The area was silent until we heard a noise coming from in front of us only to find Hagrid.

"Hagrid?" Harry asked. 

We walked with him into the forbidden forest.

"Any idea where he's taking us?" Ron asked.

"Hagrid, why can't you just tell us?"
