"Athena Alcaster."
"Ravenclaw."
Silence.
Athena looked around the room to see faces of disgust, fear and even some faces of pride. She knew why. The Alcaster family was a family known for all the wrong reasons. From dabbling with dark magic to ties with other notorious families, they had a messy reputation.
Athena walks towards the Ravenclaw table only to be greeted with faces of disgust. She sits down sighing as everyone scoots away from her.
"Hello, my name is Iris Murphy." Turning her head to her right she saw a girl with platinum blonde hair and the bluest eyes she had ever seen.
"Oh H-Hi I'm Athena." she stammered hanging her head down shyly. "Hey are you okay?" Iris questioned furrowing her brow.
"Yeah I'm fine." Athena mumbled in reply. "Look, don't pay attention to them. Whatever reason it is they're treating you this way I bet it's nothing and it'll be over before you know it." Iris smiled reassuringly.
"You think so?"
"I know so."

It had been a few weeks since Athena was sorted into Ravenclaw. Things were starting to look up for her, besides Iris she became friends with a girl named Padma.
But these friendships didn't stop other houses from voicing their opinions of her. It seemed Slytherins resented the fact she was sorted into Ravenclaw and the Gryffindor's who were aware of her family were not the happiest of her enrollment at Hogwarts. And Hufflepuffs? They couldn't care less.
Athena gathered her books for the next class. They were piled so high she could barely see.
"Hey watch it!" A boy with platinum blonde hair snapped before walking around Athena. Turning her head she sees the boy is Draco Malfoy. 'Oh God not him.'
Bringing her attention back to getting to class she suddenly trips and bumps into something hard. Her books fly in the air and drop with a loud thud.
"I'am so sorry. I promise to be more careful next time." Athena stammered running her hands through her black curly hair in stress.
"It's okay." The boy replied with a smile. Athena looked up to see a boy with round glasses, strikingly green eyes and black shaggy hair.
"I'm Harry, Harry Potter." He held his hand out for Athena to lift herself up with. "I'm Athena Alcaster." she replied taking his hand.
"What class are you off to Athena? I can help you with your books if you like." Harry gushed.
"I'm off to Defense Against Dark Arts." She replied blushing.
"Brilliant, that's where I was headed to." He grinned while holding half of Athena's books and walking towards class.
