Athena sighed at the letter on her desk she had neglected to read it ever since Hedwig delivered it to her last night.
Hermione had came over a few minutes ago giving her a hug and telling how much she missed her. She was currently waiting outside the door for Athena.
Since she missed the sorting yesterday Hermione pressured her to come to breakfast. Athena reluctantly agreed but knew she would have to if she wanted to keep her addiction a secret.
Giving the letter another glance she snatched it and frowned.
Before leaving her room Athena fed Dilys, her cat. Dilys was a gray chubby cat with green eyes and Athena liked to joke that Dilys was her only true friend.
Hermione and Athena chatted the entire trip to the grand hall. Well, she talked while Athena tuned her out and shaked her head time to time.
While walking through the halls Athena couldn't help but feel eyes piercing through her.
Turning her head she came face to face with cold blue eyes and a devious smirk. Draco Malfoy.
Furrowing her brow she turned her attention back to Hermione.
"So how was your summer?" Hermione asked with a smile. Athena lightly smiled back, "It was nice I guess, I mean my parents were gone so it was a peaceful few months."
"Yeah? I still wish you were able to go to the burrow with us. It just wasn't the same without you. Besides I think Harry really missed you he wouldn't stop talking about you."
Athena blushed, "Harry? He couldn't have missed me that much." she replied feeling a tingly sensation throughout her body.
Hermione smirked at her reaction, she then took her hand and led her into the great hall.

When we got to the great hall I sat down next to Harry who was staring at me intensely.
Ignoring his staring I put on a fake smile. "So how was your summer, I heard some things from Hermione but I also wanted to hear about you guys activities."
"Where were you yesterday?" Harry asked ignoring my question. I furrowed my brow in response.
"I had a headache yesterday and I needed to rest." I replied with a tight lip smile.
Harry opened his mouth to respond but was cut off by Hermione. "Okay why don't we change the topic."
I frowned, something was off. "No, actually I want to hear what Harry had to say."
I saw Hermione and Ron exchange worried glances in the corner of my eye.
"Well I want to know why you were really gone yesterday." Harry replied to me.
