"He wants to take Elena." Stefan groaned angrily as he stumbled into the living room. Damon lifted an eyebrow and smirked.

"I know brother. That's the whole reason for why he's here."

Stefan glared at him

"But he wants to take her now. Like right this moment."

Damon's smirk slid off his face replacing into a frustrated glance. "Why? He told us to take care of her till the Full Moon, he didn't say anything about a holiday."

"That's just it. He's going to go compel some werewolfs and round them up for the Full Moon!"

"Have you told Elena?" He asked curiously.

Stefan rubbed his temples and sighed heavily. "No. And I'm not planning to. She doesn't need this."

"Alright fine. So what are we going to do about Papa Hybrid?"

"We have to hold him off. Try and get him to slow his pace so he doesn't need to leave. And by then we'll have the weapons to kill him and his family."

Damon smiled smugly. "I like the way you think brother."

Stefan shook his head and chuckled before grabbing a drink.

"Now, which one do you think suits me best? The red," Bonnie lifted it slowly, twirling it around by the hook. "Or the black." She showed her the other.

Caroline gnawed at her lip while assessing the two choices. The red was dangerous and lionic while the black was hard and stone filled. Bonnie's best asset was her love for magic, which made Caroline realise her dress choice.

So, while her eyes locked with her best friends, she walked towards the rack and took out the black short stripped dress and held it out for her friend.

"This will go much better with your blutonic mafia heels. Just don't pick the hats. They do not suit."

Bonnie laughed. "Predictable! You should have seen Elena's face when I got out of the locker. She basically barfed!"

Caroline giggled and went to choose another dress when her phone bleeped a vibrating dingle. She took it out and smiled at the message she had gotten from Matt.

Matt D.

Brought movies with drinks, better be home when I get there cuz I don't think I can finish all these deserts myself.

P.S. Your mom texted me to tell you tht the Council has a trip to Fenay on Thursday. She's not gonna be home all week.

She quickly texted back.

Caroline F.

I'm shoppin' with Bon! XC B€ THERE IN 10.

P.S.S. You can stay over ;)

Pressing send, she walked towards Bonnie's occupied stall and called out to her.

"What!?"

Caroline shook her head. She forgot her friend was a witch sometimes. It honestly scared her sometimes of how careless she could be.

"I'm going to meet Matt at mine. You wanna come?!"

She heard her friend murmur an oh and pull on her shirt.

"Yeah I'll come. You can head out before me."

"Sure."

Caroline hummed slowly as she walked towards her door, a confused look on her face as she smelt a familiar scent in her house.

It wasn't Matt's.

"Matt!?"

Silence.

Her heart thundered in her chest. What happened to him? Didn't he say he was coming?

She took a few breaths to calm her down.

"He's probably stopped on his way here for gas." She mumbled

"Probably."

She screamed, grabbing the closest thing beside her and aimed it behind her and the intruder. Oddly enough, she knew this intruder.

"Oh. It's you. What are you doing here?"

He smirked, obviously liking her feisty attitude. It had been a long time since he had come across someone like her. Mostly because he has never met anyone like her.

A laugh throttled out of his throat as he saw her weapon, a lamp, a electricity reverted item that he could break with a twist of his fingers.

"Come on now Caroline, is that a way to greet your handsome guests?"

She scoffed.

"Your breaking and entering! And don't sneak up on people like that! I could have hurt you."

His lips parted in shock. She was worried of hurting him? No that she could but still, she had a genuine heart enough to care about him?

This was odd for him. And quite awkward frankly.

He smiled teasingly. "With a Lamp? The worst it could do is burn my eyebrows off. Which would heal right back."

She closed her eyes and breathed normally. "Klaus."

"Yes love?"

"What are you doing here?"

He sighed. "Well, I ran out of entertainment. And I simply couldn't divert my thoughts away from a certain blonde and I thought I could maybe spend some time with her."

Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion before finally, breaking into a humoured laugh. "What?"

He glared, obviously not finding any of this funny. "And what, pray tell, are you finding so hilarious?"

She stifled a laugh this time, seeing his annoyed and hurtful look.

"Sorry - I just, the rumours and from what my friends said, you're kind of like a killer in my book. So you'll find that it's a bit weird for me to hear you say that."

He sighed. "I guess it is a shock, for me too. But while I'm in this town I would like some friends to accompany me."

She smiled genuinely, seeing the vulnerability he just let out.

"I'd love to hang out."
