Y/n pov
I woke up in a tent it was cold i felt the morning breeze waft down on my face and send shivers down my spine, but when i woke up i just felt numb it happened again i lost my family and it hurts, but it must be worse for tohru, her mom died im just a leach stuck to them sucking on their  happiness just so I wouldn't be alone, i got up and got ready for the day it looks like tohru is already awake so i went to go find her, I found her sitting on a rock lightly sobbing, my eyes widened and i went down and hugged her she was shocked at first but then realized it was me and let me hug her as she cried, a few minutes later she got up and looked at me and said she was ok and put her fist in a power pose and ran off to go get ready, i just sat there on the cold rock as I looked at the sky thinking about what was gonna happen to us, her grandpa took is in for a month but then said he was getting renovations done and asked us to stay at a friends house for a couple of months but instead here we are in the woods living in a tent, it's not that bad but i feel like im cursed i lived with my parents for 8 years and they died i live with kyoko for 8 years boom she's dead it's most likely my overthinking with a hint of my OCD that's doing this but I can't help but think that im the problem. After tohru was ready she said she wanted to explore so we ran around the woods and i giggled as she was panting for air from running to much "Y/n look at view" i look and i say "Wow it's really pretty" she smiles and looks down to see a house so naturally we go down to look at the house " how cute" tohru says as she looks at the zodiac figures "Hello" a strange man who was wearing a green robe with a newspaper in hand tohru gasps and looks up i say "Oh hello we were just passing by and saw your house and looked at your zodiac figures" "Well this a suprise, we don't get a lot young girls wandering around here" tohru then says "Good morning sir, im so sorry we shouldn't have been looking around without permission" she says bowing like crazy " It's fine, i just wouldn't imagine that young teenager girls like yourselves would find this place interesting" the tall man says bending down looking at us "We really do though, especially these zodiac figures you've got. Adorable!" Tohru says " Yes they're actually a favorite of mine too"the man says " it looks like another set with out the cat" tohru says i just sit there listening to there conversation not knowing what to say " the cat? Oh right i see you're thinking about the old zodiac folktale aren't you?" The man finishes saying "Yep, my mom would tell me story over and over again when i was little"  tohru says " oh I remember she would tell it to us when we had nightmares" ( sorry im skipping the part where kyoko tells her the story) " you would cry about how sad it was that the cat didn't get to go the banquet, and we swore that instead of the year of the dog we were the year of the cat" we giggle reminiscing on the past "Well if he heard that story I wonder how he would feel" the man says " uhhh what" i say confused but he just changed the subject and said " so year of the dog , that makes me feel closer to you both already, after all im a do-" he gets cut off by getting hit in the head by another boy but this one looked familiar then I realized that it's the "prince" people at school call him that because he's looks like a prince but then he interrupts my thoughts and said to the the man " Will you at least try to control your baser urges, Miss Honda, Miss l/n
Hello, I hope my cousin here hasn't frightened you too badly" yuki says "wait sohma? Why are u here?" I say then the man says "Ow that really hurt Yuki what do you have in there a dictionary? "Two dictionaries actually"Yuki says, i laugh at his response he then says morning to us with a smile on his face " wait you guys know each other" the man says while rubbing his head, he then responds "We are in the same class" Tohru then bows and states her name i do the same " Hi, im Y/n L/n" "it's nice to meet you" we say, then the man says "Same here, im Shigure Sohma, Yuki is my little cousin" Yuki then says " what brings you both to our house this morning i say " Oh we live in the area, and stumbled upon your house" i smile hoping to get out of the awkward situation " Around here? Really" me and tohru start to sweat nervously and the tohru says "well we better be going see u later byeeee" then yuki says wait we are all going to school why don't we walk together we say sure and we start to walk to school.
