"Y/N MY FRIEND!" Tommy yells through the vc.

"TOMS!" I yell back, it's better to match his energy than to be annoyed. I've learned that over the years of knowing him.

"This is very random but would you want to go to the mall today?" He asks.

"sure." I smile. I hear the discord noise sounding that someone joined the vc.

"y/n. he's asking you on a date." Tubbo's voice chimes in.

"I- That's not what I'm doing!" Tommy argues.

"you told me two days ago you were gonna ask y/n on a date." Tubbo says.

"is that true?" I smirk, trying to contain laughter. It's so funny that Tommy has trouble when it comes to relationships.

"no, I swear. i- he's lying don't-" Tommy tries to defend himself but if anything it seems he's digging himself a hole with this.

"trust me y/n. I am not lying. he told me he wants to date you." Tubbo says. "I'll leave you two alone now." He leaves the vc.

"i- is he telling the truth, Tommy?" I ask. I hear Tommy take a deep breath as if he's hyping himself up.

"y-yeah. I was going to ask you out but I can't ever find the right time, so I had this whole plan I was gonna try but, Tubbo ruined it." Tommy explains.

"I'll act like I never heard it. I want to know where that plan was gonna go." I say smiling despite him not being able to see me at the moment.

"really?" He asks, I can sense his eyes going wide and a smile on his face, I can almost picture it.

"Yeah. let's just ignore all of what just happened." I say.

"Okay." Tommy says. "so when are we gonna go to the mall?"

"We can go now honestly if it's okay with you." I tell him.

"yeah okay. I'll see you in five minutes." Tommy says leaving the vc. Right he lives super close. Glad I already look presentable, I just need to put on a pair of jeans. I grab a pair of black jeans from my drawer and slip them on. I sit on my bed scrolling through Twitter until I hear my mum call for me. I open my bedroom door turning off my lights heading down the stairs. I see Tommy standing in the doorway, he's dressed a bit nicer than usual giving my mum the impression that this is a date. I just nod to my mum and walk out of the house.

"do you want to walk or have my mum take us?" Tommy asks, looking down at me. I'm not that much shorter than him but he still has to look down which makes us laugh.

"We can walk." I say. I have the urge to grab his hand but that part probably wasn't in his plan, and I don't want to intrude. So we walk side by side, at some points our hands brush against each other but we move on as if it didn't happen.

We soon approach the doors of the mall walking in. Tommy looks at me, "where to first?"

"I don't care. it was your idea to come here." I look up at him.

"Okay." He takes me to almost every store in the mall letting me pick out whatever I want and insisting he pays for it. He's only bought two things for himself and it makes me feel a bit bad.

"Why are you spoiling me like this?" I finally ask him as we get to the food court.

"you deserve it, baby." He says, trying his best to keep looking at me. I look at him, now blushing, my heart racing. Okay, he said he had a plan but I never expected him to call me baby. He smiles at me, I can see his face is red.
