George finally got to visit Dream, and for Dream's birthday nonetheless. They thought it would be a good time as Sapnap is out of the house, visiting Karl, so the two have the house to themselves. They didn't know why it was important, it was mainly Dream's thinking. But George is now at Dream's house, knocking on the door. Dream immediately gets up opening it, seeing George makes his smile grow, and now he's smiling like a huge dork, just staring at George.

"Dream?" George laughs.

"y-yeah?" Dream struggles to even move, he's so stuck, looking at George as if he was the only thing in the world.

"fuck." George breathed out. Dream was pretty. light freckles lined the bridge of his nose and over his cheeks a bit. George struggles to get words out, he can't believe Dream was actually there, standing in front of him. He decided a hug was the easiest way to get his point across. His arms wrapped tightly around the taller man's waist, his face buried into his chest. Dream wraps his arms around George's shoulders, smiling. This was the moment Dream had been wanting for so long. It was a moment George didn't think would happen. And while in the tight embrace of each other George comes to the most shocking realization. He was in love with Dream. George's eyes widen, and all of a sudden he wants to pull away but at the same time he wants to be as close as possible. Dream won't let go until George does, he knows this. Dream's breathing isn't nearly as fast as George's. George had a shocking revelation and it was causing him to almost break down in Dream's arms.

"you okay?" Dream's voice is cautious and quiet and it only makes George fall more. The way he cares so much for him almost made him break, almost. "I'm serious."

he was so close to breaking, so close to falling apart.

"George?" Once again, his voice was cautious and quiet. Fuck. George is going to break. He can feel it, the tears almost spilling over. George has never been so emotional, he always hides his emotions but all of a sudden it feels like he's swimming in a huge pool of emotions he can't even comprehend. "George? you gotta tell me if you're okay."

Fuck.

that was the breaking point. He couldn't even understand why that was the breaking point, but it was. He clings on even harder, tears spilling out of his eyes as he lets out silent sobs.

"s-sorry- I shouldn't be doing this Dream. sorry." George speaks between sobs, as he goes to pull away it's as though he can't.

"it's okay George." Dream speaks. The way he speaks makes George fall so hard for him, he doesn't know how he never realized before. Maybe the realization was because they're finally in real life, it's the only thing that makes sense. He couldn't have just fallen in love with him all of a sudden. It had to be some repressed things in the back of his mind that only came out now. Finally, he can pull away, he felt frozen for a while. He pulls away looking at Dream, his eyes red and puffy.

"oh, George." Dream speaks, putting his hand on George's cheek. fuck. George couldn't handle this. He felt so loved and he didn't know what to do. George couldn't comprehend it, he didn't know what to do when Dream is rubbing his thumb against his cheekbone. "what's wrong?"
