deja vu

sometimes i catch myself smiling from deja vu
from all the coincidences that remind me of you
like the mountains that gradually fade from view
and the fireplace that lit for a pair of two

sleepless nights in a rv all by myself
snipping away in a familiar smell
it's like you casted me under your spell
sharing a dream like place inside a hotel

mysterious alien metallic sound
bury my feelings deep one day they'll be found
you only returned to me as a rebound
maybe it was better you never came around

trading bracelets that was black and white
orange moon rise from the horizon at night
blanketed with starlights under moonlight
you tell me don't be afraid he doesn't bite

tell me i sound like an angel when i'm singing
cuddling for warmth while we were kissing
memories to my name that are now missing
how did i go from remembering to reminiscing

the smoke that danced from your cigarette
gave me dreams i was with your silhouette
two hands that intertwined past sunset
was a scenario i woke up from i couldn't forget

to an imitated eternity to a distant memory
in my waltzing climaxes i found my clarity
you were once my one and only serendipity
and somehow we had chaos within our harmony

now i know i'm angry as i shed a tear
but inside my heart it has a special place here
if we'll meet again is a chance thats unclear
i just hope you're happy and i'm being sincere
