I heard a groan as I put Eliana to bed, following the sound to Addison in our room, throwing herself onto her suitcase as she tried to shut it closed. I laughed as I walked over to help her. Packing had been a terrible thing.. especially with everything that Addison owned. But she insisted we do it on our own, so we were on day three of packing, with hopes of flying out to New York in two days. With Addison's determination though, I knew we could do it.

Mostly everything was packed already. We stood in an empty house with a small amount of furniture and our clothes. It was crazy to even think that in a few days, we would be on the complete opposite side of the country. But there wasn't anything I wouldn't do for Addison or any place I wouldn't follow her to.

She was my soulmate, the absolute love of my life.

This was something I had known for years. But seeing her with Eliana only solidified that for me. This was the woman I wanted to grow my family with, I wanted her to be the mother of my future children and my wife.

I had no hesitations about it, I would marry her today if I could.. and I wanted to.

As she threw herself on the bed, I walked to our closet, searching for a box that I had hid in one of my sneakers. I opened it to see the ring that I had designed for Addison, her engagement ring.

I had gotten it about a month ago.. but every day, I had told myself it was too soon. Today though, today was the day.. I wouldn't allow myself to let another day go by without telling her how much I loved her and wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.

So I had plans to take her and Eliana out of the house later, while her girls came and decorated the place. I wanted it to be special for Addison, but no matter what I did.. I knew she would love it.

"Babe.. I don't know if we should go out to dinner tonight, I'm so overwhelmed with packing, I don't know how you aren't!!" I heard her say, causing me to close the box shut and put it back in my shoe. I walked out to her, seeing a frowning Addison that looked defeated.

"No, we are going out tonight. You deserve a break baby, and we won't be out long, we need to be home early to put Eliana to bed anyways." I said, giving her a soft kiss and receiving a nod from her. I wasn't going to be taking no for an answer anyways, but I wanted her to come out and enjoy tonight.. it was one of our last nights in LA together, and I would surely miss it here.

Although I was excited for New York and a new beginning for us.. LA was the place that had initially brought us together. I had so much to be thankful for here, including many relationships. But we were ready to move on to bigger and better things, I'd follow Addison to the end of the world if I had to.. so it was time to say goodbye to LA.

"Be ready.. at 6pm sharp." I said with a smirk as I kissed her. She giggled before waving at me as I headed downstairs to continue packing our furniture.

Time went by quick though, the afternoon passing us by as we remained busy. I met Addison in our room at 5, watching her do her makeup as Eliana napped on our bed. "I'm just gonna jump in the shower real quick, okay!" I said, kissing her temple before I headed to get ready.

I showered and changed in our closet, grabbing her ring and putting it in my pocket. I took a deep breath as I smiled to myself, this was the night I had been looking forward to for years.. to finally make Addison my fiancé.

As I walked out, I saw my beautiful girlfriend holding our daughter in her arms. "We're ready!" She said with a grin, Eliana also smiling up at me. "I have the two most beautiful girls in my life.. who knows what I did to deserve you two." I said with a smile as I kissed her and proceeded to grab Eliana and leave a kiss on her cheek as well.

"Well, you're the best daddy ever.. and boyfriend." She said as she giggled and held my hand, allowing me to lead her downstairs and outside to our car. Boyfriend.. I didn't like the sound of that anymore. I wanted more, I needed more.

I drove to her favorite nearby restaurant, sushi of course being on the menu for tonight as that was our favorite dish.

As we ate, I couldn't help but begin to feel a bit nervous. My phone constantly going off didn't help with that either. "Who is texting you so much.. Jesus!!" Addison had said about three times already, receiving the same response every single time.

"It's the group chat with the boys.. sorry." I would say each time, Addison not caring enough to ask more questions. But it was truly the girls, sending me updates and now finally telling me that they were ready for us.

I looked at Addison, her smile still having the ability to melt my heart after all of these years. I was so head over heals for this woman and I was ready to tell her that.

I could barely wait as I paid for the dinner and led her back into our car. I secured Eliana in her car seat before getting into the drivers seat and holding her hand.

I watched as Addi got comfortable, taking her heels off and leaning against me, resting her head on my arm. "God.. I'm so tired.." She said, her voice sounding sleepy and her eyes beginning to close.

Fuck.

I needed her awake to actually propose.

"Babe.. you can't look this sexy and then fall asleep on me. I've been craving you all night!!" I said, knowing exactly how to wake her up. She smirked at me as she inched closer to me to be able to leave a kiss on my cheek.

She turned back to see that Eliana had fallen asleep, something she always cutely did as soon as she was put in our car. Addison turned back to me though, leaving kisses on my neck and letting her hand wander down my pants.

I cleared my throat, not wanting to stop her.. but I couldn't look a mess while proposing to her. "Don't tempt me, Addison." I said jokingly, making her laugh. "I can finish the job baby.." she whispered in my ear before she softly bit it. Fuck, she was so hot.

I zoomed home before allowing Addison to continue any further. "That was no fun." She said with a pout as she jokingly crossed her arms across her chest. I smirked as I apologized and kissed her. "As soon as we get Eliana into bed, I am all yours!" I said, kissing her.

"Promise?" she asked cutely as I nodded.

She smiled as she kissed me and jumped out of the car. I picked up a sleeping Eliana that was now beginning to wake up with some crying. "I got her!" Addison said sweetly as I allowed her to hold her. She was always so good with her.. Eliana fell right back asleep in her arms before we even got inside.

As we got to the door, I stood there for a second, knowing that our life would change as soon as I opened it. I took a deep breath, soaking in all that was about to happen.

Mrs. Addison Rae.. she was about to become my forever. And I couldn't fucking wait.

** oh yeah.. i'm awake. HELLO MY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. i've missed y'all so much!!

if you haven't seen my updates on instagram, go see them now hehe. but i am basically so sorry for falling off the face of earth lol. i desperately needed a break after writing nonstop for months. but i was also just so busy with school and my personal life. 

BUT I AM BACK. 

I do plan on finishing this story (it's almost done anyways :/ ) but after that, I will only be writing one shots. (rip Law of Attraction, SORRY) but I know i can't commit to writing a whole story. But ANYWAYS, comment any ideas you have for me. I will be making a new book for one shots where you can also leave suggestions
