Dad-My Princess looks more Beautiful than any other day!! I heard him saying. I turned around to see Dad who was controlling his tears from falling. Tears made way from my eyes thinking this is gonna be the last minutes as Miss.Bela Aakash Singhania!! Last minutes with my Family.
Dad-Oh No!! Don't cry Princess. Your Mumma will kill me if l spoil your Makeup. He said taking some tissues hurriedly and l chuckled. It was a little stunt to make me smile.
Dad-There you go!! That's how my Princess should smile always!! He said wiping my tears gently. After all Daddies' Little Princess l am. I hugged him tightly feeling a lot heavy.
Dad-I will always be there for you Princess!! Stop crying!! He said caressing my hair. I nodded trying hard not to cry. We reached the venue a lot earlier to get ready and in a little while Angad and his Family would come.
Mom-Aakash Ji!! I heard Mom calling Dad.
Dad-Yes Sarika Ji!! What happened!? He asked backing off from the hug.
Mom-Bela's in-law's are coming in sometime!! You have to be there!! Come quickly and check the arrangements. She said. Dad nodded. He kissed my forehead and left me.
Mom-Bela!! She called getting hold of my hand.
Bela-I don't want to Marry!! I don't want to go leaving all of you!! I said and she chuckled hugging me. I hugged her back.
Mom-Bela!! Every girl has to face this in life. Leaving her parents and going to her husband's home to stay.
Bela-They should think about the girl's feelings too!! She would want to live with her parents and siblings!! I complained like a little child.
Mom-No Sweety!! It's a Girl's responsiblity to look after her Husband that's why you go to your in-law's to stay!! She said breaking the hug and kissed my forehead.
Bela-I'll Miss all of you!! I said as l cried.
Mom-We'll Miss you too!! Alottt!! She said wiping my tears but she herself couldn't control her own one. I wiped those tears gently.
Mom-You just Sit here for sometime!! I'll go and see whether everything is going on properly!! She said and took me to the bed. l settled on the bed wiping my tears. Where is my Little Brother?? I thought going through my phone when l felt a presence behind me. I looked up to see Vish!!
Bela-Babe!! I whispered. She nodded coming to me. She threw herself on me for a hug.
Vish-Babe!! I'll Miss You!! She said. I hugged her back nodding.
Bela-After all you don't care about me!! You care about Yuvi!! I said trying to lighten my friend who is crying.
Vish-Nooooooo!! I care for you alott!! See that's why l brought you your favourite Chocolates!! She said showing the bag on the table. I nodded chuckling hugging her tightly. We was hugging each other talking about our childhood and what we would miss the most.
Mom-Vish!! Would you be able to come and help me with this dear?? She asked coming to the room.
Vish-Yes Aunty!! She said nodding and kissed my cheek.
Vish-I'll be right back!! She said and l nodded. I was checking my phone to see alot of. ' Happy Married Life '. I replied back to them and laid on the bed tired of these heavy dress and jewelleries.
Sid-Di!! I heard an unusual voice of him. I turned and saw Siddhart who was a crying mess.
Bela-What happened Sid?? I asked getting up and going towards him. He hugged me tightly still crying while l smiled ruffling his hair.
Sid-I w..would Miss You alott!! He said between his cries.
Bela-I'll Miss you too!! I said.
Vish-But why would you miss her Sid!!? She asked coming inside smiling. Most probably trying to make him spill it out.
Sid-Who would l have movie nights with during this Stupid Pandemic?! Who would massage my hair?? Who would serve my hungry tummy when Mumma and Dadda are away!? And there are tonnes like that!! He complained asking questions. I and Vish chuckled while he sobbed even more.
Bela-Come to me then!! I'll do all that for you like l did for you before!! I said. He nodded still hugging me while Vish clicked a picture of us.
Dad-Princess Time to go to the Mandap!! He said coming inside. Sid backed off still crying. I wiped his tears as he gave me a bag.
Sid-I... l got this for you!! He said shyly looking down. I chuckled kissing his forehead.
Bela-Thank you!! I said and he nodded. The Makeup artist did a quick touch up and we started to leave to the Mandap with my parents either side of me. They led me there and Dad gave my hand to Angad who accepted it smiling. I smiled back and sat next to him. We took the Seven Vows around the fire. We sat again and he tied the Mangalsutra around me and applied Sindoor on my forehead. The Priest announced us as a married couple and said to take blessing from elders. We both slowly got off the Mandap and took blessings from His Parents and mine. Now l am Mrs.Bela Angad Mehra!! After a little sometime it was time to leave my Family, My childhood!! It was an emotional and tearful Goodbye which l would never forget. We started our journey from the venue to my new home.
Angad-Honey!! Please don't cry!! He said giving me a piece of tissue. I took it and smiled as he pulled me into a hug mumbling little sweet things in my ear.
