1.tell about yourself

Hi, I'm Aindrila Ghosal. You would probably know me by my pen name Andiee Sen. I hail from Kolkata, ofcourse a Bengali. However, I've traveled and lived across quite a few cities in and outside the country. Professionally, I'm an educator. I teach English and Media studies at AS and A levels. Since a very young age, I've been extremely passionate about reading literature, and it wasn't long that I started exploring the world of writing. Also, I'm a huge fan of Rabindranath Tagore as well.( ) 

2.two embarrassing moments you can share.

 (*Giggles*) Embarrassing moments aren't meant to be shared you know. But yes, I remember one incident and my students still talk about it. So, it was right before the pandemic started, I had accompanied my senior students to a 4-day convention. There they had this social night ( sort of prom), and I was asked to dance by a kid ( a teen from another school) who assumed me to be a student. It was really embarrassing. ( Laughs).

3.tell us about your writing journey.

Well, I find writing to be extremely therapeutic. I started writing at a very young age. Given my love for literature, I've always been the storyteller in the group. ( Smiles) Then, I took up literature as my subject and completed a master's degree in it. I have won a few literary competitions as well. But, of late, I just get enough time to write feedback on my students' answer scripts (laughs).

But yes, on a serious note, writing is a way for me to cope up with the pandemic blues. 

4.how do you manage both story writing and your profession

That's a good question. (Smiles) I started writing this story during the summer breaks. I, honestly, didn't intend to continue it this long. But now, it seems I'm in love with the plot and the characters. Now, that my summer break is over, if not 4,5 updates, but I'll definitely update one chapter every day. Also, I'm thankful that my profession itself deals with literature and writing skills, so yes, I don't see them clashing. (Smiles).

5.one character you want to be and why

 Umm... one character from my story? Well, it would be Anirudh then. Our ideologies kinda match. :) Foe example, our constant conflict over right and wrong, good and bad, head and heart. 

6.your crush

Haha :) that would be Leonardo DiCaprio, always and forever. Also, I have someone in my real life whom I've been constantly crashing on every day for the last 10 years :) I got married to him recently. 

7.one lie you regret telling

That I'm not scared of GHOSTS!! :)

8.besties on watty

Everyone who loves my work is a bestie to me. None special. :)

9.fav food

Soups and salads I would say. I eat very light.

12.tell us about ur book the unventured territory

 The Unventured Territory is romantic fanfiction. The main characters and the basic plot is derived from the popular tv serial Barrister Babu. The backdrop is 19th century Bengal. The story explores the emotional turmoil of the lead characters and how they emerge from all the adversities society has to offer.

It's really interesting to see how these two characters, Bondita and Anirudh, would grow with each other... exploring each other and experiencing each other as they grow up.

 13.are you planning to start a new story

 Yes. I am. I actually intend to write another Barrister Babu fanfiction after this. So stay tuned. :)

15. what inspires you to write poetry? and tell us about your book GIBBERISH.

Poetry is life. Poetry taught me to fall in love with life. I have been scribbling words in the name of poetry since the time I have learnt to frame sentences. :)

GIBBERISH is a collection of short poems that I write from time to time as and when I heart wants to spit out words.

Also, check out my new story, 'My heart will go on... FOREVER' ❤️ . It's an intriguing supernatural story revolving around the popular vampire character Damon Salvatore.
