"Dabi, I don't think I should wear this to Gala," You said as you checked yourself out again in the mirror in front of you. It was a Butterfly-Embroidered Long Backless Formal Dress. It had a double side slit and an open back, it's a deep V-neck dress something that you have never worn. It was making your self conscious.
"Why? It looks perfect!" Touya said looking at you. He did mean it, the dress was hugging your body perfectly and it looked like it was just meant for you.
"It's just, I have never worn something like this. I don't think it looks good on me," You said looking down.
"It looks perfect and you will be fine, Karen. Shoto is going to drool over you, I swear," Touya said knowingly how much his brother is going to love the subtle colour of your dress and its delicate embroidery on your dress just added so much beauty to it. His words made you blush, you couldn't help but think what Shoto would say when he sees you in this dress.
"Fine, let's get this one then," You said as you smiled at him. It's not that you haven't tried other dresses before, you did and you found all of them pretty. But, this one was different. It was the most beautiful one according to you.
Touya as well got himself a suit. A black one, of course, the only thing that was missing in his suit was a tie. Which was supposed to be matching your dress.
"Let's go buy a tie for you," You said. As he nodded in return. After changing back to the clothes which you were originally wearing, you and Touya headed to the tie section.
You both saw many ties but none of it was similar to your dress or it sits colour until your eyes fell on one tie. Your hands involuntarily made their way towards the tie and you picked it up. It had butterflies design on it and had the same colour as your dress, which was a very subtle shade of pink.
"Dabi, this one," You said showing him the tie. He took it from you and examined the tie.
"Perfect," He said with a small smile. After paying for the things we both got, we stepped out of the shopping centre.
"Let me drop you to your place," Touya said.
"No! There's no need. I'll take a cab," You said. Well, you weren't going to take a cab or anything. You were just going to teleport.
"I can't let a pretty girl like you go home alone this late. I insist, let me drop you," He said. You didn't want to reject him again so you just nodded with a smile.
"Alright then, if you say so," You said. He gently smiled at you and you both sat in his car. You showed him the direction to your place, and soon in few minutes, you both reached there. You stepped out of the car and so did he.
"Thank you for helping me out, Dabi," You said.
"There's no need. I would do anything for my brother and especially knowing that he's finally into a girl who is so good and genuine," Touya said with a smile. You felt a pang of guilt in your heart knowing that you weren't good or genuine. How can you be? You are a villain after all.
"I'll see you on 25th," You said smiling at him. But, your heart. It felt heavy, you didn't want to build a fake relationship with Shoto. You want to tell him everything about yourself, including the fact that you are a villain. But, that will make you lose him for life and you were sure that without him, you would go back to being the maniac who loved killing. This dilemma was eating you up alive and no one could help you with it.
