The lyrics of our blockbuster song blazes through the speakers of the corridor as we head towards Sajangnim's office.
'Dynamite'- this song changed my life, BTS's life, at large. 'Dynamite' gave us the recognition and acknowledgment that we should've gotten pretty earlier. I'm not being mean saying this, but that's a fact!
Although, hyungs pretend to be satisfied and have believed the western media giving us late recognition is okay, but it's not and I'm am the only one who's vocal about it. After all, I'm the type of person, that wants and gets something if he deserves that thing, and, we, as BTS, deserved the recognition way earlier.
They say it's because of our language barrier, but I don't think music has any language! It's just a raw emotion passed on from my heart to yours through beats and tunes!
"Come on in, dear boys!" A cheerful voice of our cheerful Sajangnim welcomes us as Namjoon Hyung twists the doorknob to open the door. I didn't even realize we reached his office.
We greet him and others present in the room and take our seats across the big curvilinear table, along which our Sajangnim is seated in his comfy chair. I see two more faces- one being our Head Manager Hyung and one- he looks so familiar....Oh!
"Choi PD-nim?" I ask, unsure if I guessed it right.
"Anyeong Taehyung-ah! It's been a long time!" Getting up from his seat, he walks towards me and gives me a tight brotherly hug.
"Yes, Hyung! It's been so long!" I say pulling apart with a smile as we take our seats back.
CHOI PD-NIM was one of the producers at KBS when I was shooting in the drama 'Hwarang'. He wasn't in Hwarang's production team but I know him through common acquaintances and he's a great guy both- professionally and personally. He's the mastermind behind Korea's most hit reality shows. But what is he doing here?
"So boys," Sajangnim starts, "I have called you to discuss your plans for 2 months of your hiatus, but first, Congratulations boys! You're superstars! Though you didn't win at the Grammys, you surely won a 'grammy-ficient' number of hearts! Hurray! You made it!" Happiness and pride- both reflecting from his face as he mimics the "Cheers" action.
" WE made it Sajangnim!....BTS, you, the staff, the whole of BigHit and most importantly, our Army, our fandom, our love- WE all made it!" Namjoon hyung said emphasizing 'WE' and taking his imaginary glass up for doing the"Cheers". He's truly our leader, we're proud of him, of us, and our Army.
Soon, we all join the celebration by raising our imaginary glasses and giggling proudly. "Cheers!" Just a normal ritual at Hybe!
"So, let's get to the point. As you all know that you're on hiatus for 2 months and we planned something for you-"
"Sajangnim~, shouldn't we have the whole of 2 months for ourselves? Why are we planning schedules in that time as well?" Jin hyung whines.
"Yes Jin, but after 2 months, you have to work on your comeback and the thing we have planned will only take a month at the most of your hiatus freedom!" Jin hyung still doesn't seem to be pleased as a long sad sigh is heard from his mouth, sulking as he nods. Such a Drama Queen!
