30. Waterfall OR What-a-fall

She takes her water bottle as a gun, "I have a good reach, you know?"

"Then why are you still standing there..." I turn my eyes flirty, "Come, reach me." I put my hands in front and a sultry voice, I continue, "Handcuff me, lady officer. I know I did the crime of stealing your heart!"

As expected, she cringes, "Yuck, Kim. Stop being so cringe-y." She puts her bottle down and calls me, "By the way, lunch is ready, let's go"

I laugh at her failed attempt of changing the topic, but let it slide, and say, "Okay...let's also check on everyone else."

She nods and locks the door, we head out to have lunch for the afternoon.

Saachi

"You wanna join us, Namjoon-ssi?" I politely ask him, who's seated across me at the dining table. The question is about asking Mr.148IQ guy to join us on a mini-explore session of the city on rented bicycles. Kaira told me that Namjoon-ssi is a great fan of riding bicycles and so I considered asking him.

Namjoon-ssi's eyes turn sparkly, "Yes definitely, bicycle riding is absolute fun." He says, "Besides, who would want to reject a such beautiful offer from you, my dear reader-mate?" I guess I heard someone snicker at the table. 

Anyways, I smile and nod.

Kaira gets up, "So let's go, guys! Let's have our legs paddling those bicycle wheels and our hearts taking in the adventurous joy!"

We have 5 bicycles and 6 people because Namjoon-ssi was added to our plan at the last moment. The most excited two kids in our group, Jungkook, and Kaira, immediately hop onto their bicycles, leaving 3 of them for the remaining 4 of us. Jimin smiles at Taehyung, weird, but yeah, he claims the next bicycle, leaving only 2 of them.

I leave it to the two men to decide for themselves. Assuming they will take one bicycle and ride together, I take one of two cycles. As soon as I take a seat and adjust myself on the narrow cycle seat, my bicycle just jerks forward and I feel a firm hold of two palms on my shoulders. "Let's go, Manager!"

Huh?

I look back and there he is, Kim Taehyung, smiling in all his glory at me. I just release a nonchalant sigh and look at Namjoon-ssi who has taken the last bicycle. He smiles and motions me to get going. I nod and turn my eyes to Kim, giving him a squinted look, I say, "You won't leave me alone, eh?"

He nods his head like a kid "Nope", he points, "Agency taught me to never leave my Manager alone." I laugh slightly at his answer.

He squeezes my shoulder a bit, "Moveeeee...they already started!"

I take a deep breath and start paddling my feet. The deal is to reach first and beat all the others. We have small maps, GPS, etc. for our help. The place that we need to reach to win is a zoo. The winner gets a chance to make the loser do anything that he wants in tonight's "Shoot Wrap-Up Party" at Goa's famous Cruise.

I cannot lose, simply, because I am extremely competitive.

"Hey, Kim, listen up. We can't lose this game okay...now that we are on one bicycle, we both are a team. So ...you get it, right?"

He says something, but that just comes to me as an incoherent whisper because of the fast wind striking my ears. "Huh? What did you say?" I ask, a little loudly.

He replies again, but the same, just the incoherent whispers get louder than earlier. I repeat, "Can you say even more loudly, Kim?"

I feel his hands pressing on a little more on my shoulders and his mouth coming closer to my ears. That's when I hear it. "Yes! I get it! We are a team and we will win!!" he declares.
