3. Global Band- BTS!

"BTS?" I couldn't believe my ears right now! BTS- the band everybody is maniacally obsessed with all over, is coming to India? For the first time? For what? Why? Uh... I mean why am I here again?

Job!- a voice in my head answered urgently.

Last week, my internship was finalized and I'm somehow getting to know my colleagues and the working pattern here. They are all good and the work environment is also nice.

Right now, I'm sitting in a conference room, it's been an hour since Archana ma'am is briefing us. Oh-by 'us', I mean all the 30 management people mainly responsible to assist the group's ventures here, in India.

Within next 2 more hours, we have been already briefed about the whole tour and the management works to be done on our part as a company and help the 'BTS'.

After completing my work for the day, I get out of the company and take the first cab to head home.

'BTS- a world sensation, globally biggest boy band surpassing all kinds of success peaks and breaking all the records to have been existed till date, topping all the music charts and finally, a group of seven gorgeously kind men who dream of making the world a better place to live. ' - these are all the things that I learned about BTS from today's discussion and are the only things I know about them.

Well, I don't know how true these things are about them, but one thing is for sure that I can say that they surely have maintained a good 'public image'. And being a PR person myself, I know that the public persona isn't anything like how a man actually is in real life. It's just the way people and things are made to look all good and kind. Nothing is real.

And BTS, it's like they've literally hypnotized people in saying only and only good about them. Just like every other celebrity! And I hate celebrities!

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate them. In fact 'hate' is such a big word, but that also doesn't mean I like them. I'm a normal, neutral Indian girl. Plus being a hermit, I didn't have time for all this, so I don't really know much about them. And now that I'll be working for them, I need to know at least the basics of them.

The cab stops. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't notice that I reached my house. I get into my room. After freshening up, I decide to analyze all the files for the project.

"BTS BV× KBS Exciting India"

The title seems interesting though. Reading and highlighting the important dates and schedules, I realized that I need to do some research on them on my part to be a good and presentable manager. I am about to google them when I remember her.

Kaira

The name that immediately popped up in my head after hearing BTS was 'Kaira'! My best friend forever-  Kaira is basically a hard-core BTS fan. She's into them from age of 20, no-18 I guess, I don't even remember how long she is obsessed with them, being partially the reason why I don't tend to like them. She even calls one of them her husband. Literally!

Apart from that, she's a brilliant Architect, a bubbly girl with Miss India-like features and is the best of best friend anybody could ask for! 

I can just ask her to explain to me her 'husband's and his 6 other friends info' Chuckling at my idea, I grab my mobile and message her to meet me at our usual place.

The setting sun gives me one last smile before it goes down, behind the huge building as I see it from the glass window of the Cafe. I'm waiting for Kaira for the past 15 minutes or so.
