It was a cold day in New York. Anna had woken up with a stuffed nose, for what she believed to be the first time in her life. Apparently sitting on rooftops in the snow with nothing but a vest top and a leather jacket made you sick. Who knew? She walked down to the living room at 5am to try and sneakily put Steves present under the tree. Tony had given everyone the same brown wrapping to wrap them in, and Anna write Steves name in cursive on the front.

After she went to the training room. She had slept until 4, when she woke up with a nightmare. After spending an hour sitting in her room she realised that if she didn't get up now she wouldn't find the motivation to. So she went to the training room only to find Natasha in it. She offered the woman a wave, before going to the treadmill. She would've gone to the streets, but her nose and head felt all foggy from what she guessed was a cold. So she opted to run on the treadmill.

After running for two hours she realised she was sweating, which was weird. Natasha left to shower an hour ago and Anna decided to do the same. Neither were huge fans of Christmas so hadn't mentioned it.

After the shower, Annas nose still felt blocked, which was incredibly annoying. The avengers agreed breakfast was at 8am so Anna proceeded to get dressed. Tony had insisted everyone wore matching Christmas jumpers. Anna slipped hers on but was still cold. She was cold? She decided to slip it off and replace her vest top with a skin fitted long sleeve t-shirt. Honestly, as much as it wasn't her style, the jumper was incredibly cosy. She checked the time seeing it was 7:50am. So she went to her mirror, her nose was pink, almost red. Well this is new.

Anna went into the living room to see, well everyone.Peter however, opted to have Christmas with his aunt. She smiled to the occupants before sitting next to Wanda. Wanda turned around to face Anna before saying "Merry Christmas"
"Merry Christmas" Anna said. This was when she first realised her throat was hurting.

"Are you cold Anna?" the girls arms were wrapped around her tightly
"Yeah, I think I have a cold" Wanda's eyes widened
"You have a cold?" Anna nodded slowly
"I'm not entirely sure what the symptoms of a cold are, but I think this is it"
"Yeah me too. I think this is the first time I've seen you wear actual colour by the way"
"What the red? Yeah, I think it brings out my nose" Wanda chuckled "That it does"

"BREAKFAST" Natasha called from the kitchen, where she and Steve had been cooking. Everyone proceeded to enter. When Anna stood up she felt slightly dizzy, but Wanda slightly gripped her shoulder to keep her stood up. "You good?"
"Slightly dizzy" Anna said. Her muscles hadn't tensed when Wanda initially touched her, which Wanda noticed. She wrapped an arm around Annas shoulder, allowing her to lean some weight on her.

Once they were by the entry way, Anna retracted from Wanda, she didn't want people to know she was sick. Oh god colds suck, Anna thought as she realised she didn't have an appetite. She looked at the pancakes and decided to attempt to eat them. She ate one of the three and realised she was done.

Once everyone had finished, they walked back into the living room. Anna sat next to Wanda on one of the love seats and the other avengers were scattered on the couch.
"Okay, so we're going to give the gifts, everyone will guess and then we will see who wins"
"I think we should guess in reverse alphabet order" Wanda suggested, attempting to save her friend who already knew who everyone had.
"Okay sure, Wanda your up first" Wanda internally cursed. She didn't particularly want to be first, and forgot she would be.

Tony walked over to the tree and picked up the package labelled Wanda. Unbeknownst to Wanda, Anna had helped Bruce pick it, given he had no clue. She opened the package revealing a white hoodie with a rose design. She remembered showing Anna a picture of it and smiled to herself. Who would ask Anna for hell? She thought, attempting to prepare her guess. Next it was Tonys turn, Anna har also helped Bucky, who knew Anna was attentive and would be able to lie to Anna. It was an incredibly fancy looking phone case, which resembled the gold and red of Tonys suit. A small smile graced Tonys face.
