''Mom can you sign this, please I have a field trip coming up, and I really want to go so, can you, pretty please,'' Emma begged with a pen in her hand. ''Yeah, sure'' Her mom read through the paper and signed it. ''Thank you soo much now, dad has to sign it also where is he'' Mari pointed at his office and they walked off.

''Hey, Dad, sorry to disturb you-'' ''Hold on Emma'' He said before answering his phone. ''Adrien just listen to her please'' Marinette spoke up leaning up on the door. ''I heard Marinette just wait okay this is important'' He brushed them off. ''Dad it's just to-'' ''Emma hold on'' He repeated sternly.

''Dad-'' ''Emma Stop nagging me'' He yelled and she shot back in fright as he hit the desk hard. ''Adrien-'' Marinette started but Emma rushed out the room before they could finish their sentences. ''Papa?'' Elianna whispered as she heard him yell at her sister. He saw the disappointment on her face and sighed deeply meanwhile Marinette hated how her husband had changed.

''Emma I just wanna talk open up please'' Marinette muttered at the other side of the door. ''No thanks M-Mom I'm fine'' She said between sobs. ''Em can I come in I have your phone and it's open I know you don't want me to go through your stuff so-''

''Fine-'' Emma opened the door and El came in and cuddled with her on the bed. ''I'm sorry that happened'' Her sister whispered as they faced each other on the bed. ''Yeah, it's fine El I-''

She was cut off by her phone ringing. ''Oh Jordan answer'' Elianna piped up but she just threw her phone on the egg chair. ''Ugh sometimes I don't understand you people'' Elianna whispered laying back down. ''Whatever you still love me'' Emma muttered and her sister smiled widely.

''Omg this is the fifth time he has been trying to call you, answer the phone, just wipe your tears'' El said before she answered the phone. ''Hey you okay, you didn't answer my calls-'' ''Yeah I'm fine Jordan c-can we call another time-''

''Oh my... What happened Em your eyes are red and puffy and your voice sounds different, were you crying-'' ''Yes-'' El yelled but Em threw a pillow at her. ''No I was not I just ate a lot of pepper food I'm fine now can I please go'' ''She's lyinggggg'' Elianna yelled. ''El shhhhhh'' Emma whined. ''Uhm yeah we can call another time no worries'' He smiled and hung up.

''Ughhhhhhhh'' Emma groaned before bursting into tears. What hurt her was that her dad, the person that promised to love her no matter what, did everything he promised not to do. He doesn't spend time with them, is never home, misses important occasions, acts as if he doesn't care and most of all he yelled at her it scared her and brought back many memories she wanted to forget and never said sorry for it also...

''Where is Emma'' Adrien asked coming out of his office. ''Crying in her room or probably sleeping'' Elianna muttered taking pity for her sister. ''Don't look at me like that Adrien, this is your fault you sort it out yourself I'm not making anything up to her because I am not the one WHO YELLED AT THEIR DAUGHTER... how dare you, you promised her you would never break her heart and look what you did all you had to do was sign the dumb paper and you couldn't even do that I am not doing this again, sort yourself out or we-'' She trailed off because El was starting to get scared and she didn't want to break up with their father in front her 8-year-old daughter so the mom just sighed ''Come on El time for bed'' Marinette took her hand and carried her to bed.

Later that day

''I don't know what to do anymore our relationship is falling apart'' Marinette said over the phone as her husband sighed hearing her from upstairs and Emma also........
