Marinette sighed, once again her husband, was not by her side. She tried calling but he never answered, she laid in bed reading to keep her busy, it was past midnight, he should be home by now.

30 minutes later...

"Mari, what are you doing up so late?" He asked. "I was waiting on you, what are you doing out so late?" She questioned. "Didn't I say I was gonna be late, in the text- oh shit- sorry Marinette." He replied. "You always have an excuse for everything Adrien, when will you just man up and start taking care of your family, Of your children, You missed you daughters play today, she couldn't stop crying until she fell asleep. What is it Adrien?!" She whisper yelled.

"Nothing Marinette." He replied. "Yeah sure..." she got out of bed and he took her hand. "Where are you going?" He questioned.

"I can't stay here with you, and you were definitely out drinking." She pulled away her hand and walked out the room.

"M-Mom? Are you okay." Emma whispered as her mother laid beside her. "Yes, go to sleep my love." Marinette whispered.

The next morning...

"Marinette you can't ignore me forever!" Adrien groaned. "Morning, can I help with breakfast?" Emma asked. "Sure love, I'm gonna wake El okay. And good morning." She smiled before walking away.

"Emma, what's wrong with your mother?" Adrien asked. "Maybe she is mad her husband is coming home late and acting strange." She replied.

"Emma, look I'm sorry you found out that way-" "found out what?" Mari asked. "Nothing." They both shot out. "O...kay." she replied not believing them.

"Hi daddy, and Emma." El smiled. "Hey princess, come sit down for breakfast." El's face lit up hearing this and she jumped unto the chair. "Can you stay for breakfast?" Emma asked.

"Sorry love but-" she sighed and jumped down from the chair. "Hold on, sure El." He smiled. She smiled and sat next to him...

"Aren't you gonna answer the phone?" Mari asked. "Uhm no, I'll call them back later-" "but it might be important-" "I said I will call them back later Marinette," he grumbled. Marinette sighed and walked away.

"Daddy, you know you hurt mommy's feelings when you yell." El spoke up. "I'm sorry, come on love, eat." He spoke up. "Okay daddy. " she smiled. Emma sighed and sat down by the dinning room table.

"You okay? Is it your dad?" Her mom asked. "No... well yes but, Jordan is being distant also, he's busy, and we don't hang out anymore." Emma whispered.

"Oh sweetheart, don't think too much of it, he loves you, very much, just give him some time to come around okay." Emma nodded and smiled.

"Hi Jordi," Elianna smiled. "Hey pumpkin, is your sister here?" He asked. "Uhm, she said if you knock on the door tell you she isn't home." El replied. "Oh... well tell her I stopped by and have her call me okay." He smiled. "Okay bye." El smiled before shutting the door.

"Why'd you lie sissy?" El asked snuggling with her sister on the sofa. "Because Jordan needs a taste of his own medicine." Emma replied.

"Teenagers are weird... how do you ignore someone you say you love?" El asked before leaving.

Emma sighed. She was right, she was just as bad shutting him off so she picked up her phone. "Hey Jordan, El said you stopped by." She smiled.

"Oh uhm yeah, you okay?" He asked. "Yeah, uhm, do you want to hang out later, there is a little cafe-"

"I'm sorry Emma I can't, I have to go to my aunt's today." He spoke up. "Oh, okay, anotuer time then." She smiled. "Okay, well bye, I'll text you later okay." He returned.

"Okay Lo- I love you..." she trailed off as he had hung up. She sighed and called Marcus over.

"Hey beautiful what's new?" He asked. "Jordan is ignoring me." She sighed. "Oof, romance, I can't help you-"

"He says he's going to his Aunt today, but then Ben called and asked if he was running late to his party." She sighed. "What!? And they never invited me?!" He asked and she glared at him.

"I know, maybe he was supposed to go to the party but never showed up because he had to go to his aunt's." Marcus replied.

"Hey my invitation just showed up." He grinned. "Aww you are leaving me too?" She pouted. "No, I had enough party for the weekend, wanna watch a movie?" He asked.

Her face lit up and she smiled. "Sure." She got up and they made it to the living room to watch a show...

"Holy shit-" "language!" She glared. "Oh sorry." He replied. "Anyway what's up?" She asked. "Nothing." He replied. She crossed her arms and glared at him.

"Trust me you don't want to know." He replied but she snatched the phone only to see her boyfriend at Ben's party. Having a great time.

"He lied to me?..." she whispered in shock and sadness. She took out her phone and called him.

"Hey princess-" "Hey love, how is your day at your Aunts going?" She asked. "Uh good." He replied. "Where are you now? Are you on your way back? Can we still hang?" She asked.

"Uhm sorry but I can't-" "is it because you are at Ben's? You know, I had enough of people lying to me, telling me I am loved when they are the one's hurting me. You were supposed to be different Jordan... I wanted you be be different.

But then you lie to me-"

"Emma I did go to my aunt's, I only stayed for an hour before I went to Ben's." He shot back.

"That doesn't make it right! It's five hours later! You still could have spent the day with me, you are drifting away and I don't like it-"

"Princess come on-" "No, I try! I try really hard to suppress my feelings, but you are breaking my heart Jordan, you don't even tell me you love me anymore... Do we still have love?..." she asked.

"Yes! Of course I just-" "You are fed up of me?... I should have learned from my parents, love doesn't always last... I need a break, bye." She hung up before he could say anything and Marcus sighed.

"Come here." He pulled her into a hug and she cried. Marinette sighed deeply hearing her daughter's conversation, she decided to confront her husband, little did she know they were going to go there separate ways later on...
