4| Sizzle

The bonfire was pretty quite and ended around 3am. Adora and her friends had left way before that, although when Adora finally was able to lay down and got comfortable as she started to close her eyes her mind kept her awake with a special someone all summer long ... summer had ended and everyone was upset about it but excited for the new year ...

I kept tossing in turning as a memory kept playing over and over in my head.

"Adora!" I was awaken by my friend Glimmer as she had her hands on my shoulders shaking me vigorously. I shot right up as the two stared.
"We're trying to not to be late for school on the first day!" Glimmer snapped as she let go of me.
"Right! Sorry" I stammered as I took a breath and the two walked out of me room, I got up as I stretched out and got ready. I put on a red windbreaker with some grey jeans that were cupped at the bottom and a pear with shirt tucked in. I grabbed my bag and placed all my books in it.
'Summer went by so fast ...'
I thought as I smiled as put my bag on, I went out of my room and said my good byes to Miss.Razz as I went out the apartment building and went to my friends.
"Also" I heard Bow say as I turned to him
"Who's Catra?" He asked softly
A noticeable blush appeared on my face as I turned my head away from him hearing him and Glimmer giggle.
"Just someone I met, but how are the two love birds doing?" I said stirring the conversation away from me. I made they quiet before Glimmer started getting angry and upset by what I said and yelled at me.

(Catra's pov)

I woke up to hearing my alarm clock go off and my step mother slamming the front door loudly as I sat up and covered my eyes from the sun as my cat Melog came up onto me and rubbed against me.
"Not now melog" I said tiredly as I laid but down and got comfortable once again before hearing my alarm clock go off ... again!
After some arguing with my alarm I got up and started to get ready, I opened my closet door and shifted through my clothes. Before taking out and old shirt, it was an wine red with a half moon opening up at the top, I placed it on as I looked for something else. I put on some dark blue shorts on and cuffed them as I put on calf high black socks and some low top vans.
I went out of my room and ran a brush through my hair and grabbed a water bottle and a jacket that I had left on the couch arm for maybe little over 5 months.
I went out the house that was pretty nice from the outside just a one store that had dark red brick paired with a rusty white door, some vines were staring to grow around it and get into the bricks. I walked down the pathway meeting up to the rest of the sidewalk as I put on my jacket and started to walk. My friends lived close to me, I could see Scorpia waiting outside for me as I walked past her house and she got behind me then next to me.
"Hey wildcat!" She said excitedly as she looked down at me.
"Scorpia it's to early ..." I said roughly as I yawned.
"What do you mean! It's only 7 something!" She said obviously shocked by my comment. I looked up at her with a flat face.
"Exactly" I said, she didn't like my answer and argued with me the entire way to school, my ears kept flicking around as my tailed swayed to the ground I was clearly annoyed ...

The two very different groups had gotten into school and went to their lockers. Catra has got into her locker as she looked over to her side, across the hall was Adora or known by her Blondie ...
Catra stared at her for sometime until the class bell had rang and the halls started to become more ... uncomfortable.

(Adora's pov)

My locker was near as I went and started to put my things away as a few people I knew came up to chat.
We chatted before they had to go and I turned back to my locker and closed it not to hard where attention would've been drawn, I turned away as I stared back at her ... Catra the person I blame for not getting a full nights of rest. I watched as she bit her bottom lip as she scanned me again before getting called away by a rather tall buff lady.
'Signals I see' I thought as I smiled before walking away to beat the rush of the bell or known as traffic jammed.
I got to my class as I wrote down what the teacher put. "Alright students I will want this project done by Friday!" Mrs.Mara said as she sat back down and everyone nodded her head as they left.
Mrs.Mara is a history teacher from time to time but mainly stayed as a math teacher. She quite nice and was married last autumn.
I got up from my chair and made my way out as my ponytail went from side to side, once out of the class I saw a huge crowd around something happing.
' A fight happened I suppose ' I thought as I started to go by my locker until I stopped in horror.
"Get her Lonnie!"
"Bite her Catra!"
The crowd only got longer as I turned myself around my mine racing with everything ...
' Catra?! '
I dropped my bag as I ran to the group not sure what I was going to do I got a closer look ...

Lonnie was on top of Catra getting a lot of good hits on her it seemed like the poor feline had been jumped, Catra had her claw deep in Lonnies skin as Lonnie shook her arm only to make the claws go all the way down her arm and Catra kicked Lonnie away to caught her breath as three teacher came to break up the fight. One of the teachers grabbed Catra and Lonnie causing Lonnie to yell out to Catra ...

(Catra's Pov)

I woke up to a pounding headache, I hissed as I felt an ice cold feeling that sent shivers down my spine. I opened my eyes and look up to see ... her ...
The ocean blue eyes that have a warm feeling with them, a smile that came slowly on her face was so contagious that even the devil wouldn't be able to keep a straight face. But god damnit why are you here ... not exactly the way I wanted to see you again.
"Why are you here?" I asked with a tired tone.
"I saw the fight, I couldn't just stand there" she said lightly as she took a strand of hair behind my fury ear.
"I guess ... but you didn't have to come to the nurse with me" I said trying to hide the fact that I enjoyed her being with me.
She chuckled "I wanted to come" she said ... that's all she said ... leaving me and my heart a flustered mess.
I stayed quiet as I leaned into her touch it was nice and inviting, I closed my eyes as I stayed still drifting off to sleep ...
It seemed like school was close to ending as I woke up from the nurse telling me to go get ready for last period. My last period was p.e I had it changed to that only because I didn't want it in the morning. I got to p.e and I got lucky I was able to stay out of doing action, I sat down as I rested my elbows on the cold metal as my friends came over to me asking me questions.
"Sadly it wasn't the best fight but my claws got her good" I replied as Scorpia clapped her hands "Yeah! You showed her wildcat!" Scorpia said proudly. The two friends made their way out of school.
I was waiting outside of the school when blondie came up to me.
"Hey how you feeling?" Adora asked with a smile.
"Ah-Iv been better" I replied as she frowned 'I guess that wasn't the answer that she wanted to hear' I thought quickly getting called out.
"Well if you're feeling better, maybe you would want to come to my game?" She asked with a slight blush over her pale cheeks. A smirk grew on my face as I got closer to her. "I'll be there blondie" I said as I started to walk away and placed my hands in her pockets I heard her yelling at me along the lines of
'Oh—Alright! See—See you there!'
I could tell she was a mess as I began walking over to Entrapta how was looking at some bugs and writing about them, I watched her before flicking the bug away making her scream at me.
"You are a sizzle Catra a sizzle!" She screamed.
