(Adora's Pov)

I was getting ready for the game. The first game of the year! We were going against our rival team, for now the name isn't important.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, I was very shaken up as I placed my hair up and pinned back my bangs to kept them out of my face, they sort of went into a 'puff' if that makes sense.
"Dearie! Your friends are here!"
Miss.Razz yelled out to me as I looked at myself in the mirror before walking out of my room.
Miss.Razz will be coming to the game later on, she said she needed to bake a pie first for good luck. I waved goodbye and went out the door as I went to my friends and we made our way there.

Once Adora got to the field and got with her teammates they discussed what their play format was going to be. Although Adora wasn't planning attention, her eyes pried over the crowd trying to find someone pacific. The tall one sighed as she turned her head away until she heard someone yell out. "You get them blondie!"

(Catra's Pov)

I don't know much about football so I assumed that we were ... winning? I think? I watched the score from 5 to 7, luckily Scorpia came and sat next to me.
"Hey wildcat!" She said cheerfully as I nodded my head, "Hey" I said plainly as I hadn't made eye contact with her, her hand soon went close to my face and waved it "Yello!?" She said louder as I swatted her hand away and hissed.
"Where's nerd?" I asked as I took ... stole one of her hot dogs. "Oh she's at the lab, she's working on something that can open up a portal so to speak!" She said happily, "Sounds cool" I added as I look back at the score "Hey, are we winning?" I asked and looked at her "Oh no way, the other team has a score of 12 while we have 9." Oh damn I really got to learn football ...
I could see Adora get mad as she sat down on the bench I decided to give her some encouraging words.
I made way down to her, "Hey blondie~" I said with a soothing tone as she flinched up and looked at me. "Hey—Hey Catra!" She stammered as she took off her helmet, under it laying with messy blonde hair and a sweaty forehead. 'She looks good surprisingly.' I thought as I shook my head to get rid of that thought. "Seems like their getting your asses out there" I said as I sat next to her flicking my tail around, "Yeah they're not playing very nicely. And Iv about had it" she said sternly "Aw blondie It's adorable seeing you mad" I said in a baby voice as she rolled her eyes with a hint of red over her cheeks. Then her name was called out as I stood up and made her look at me. "You get them blondie" I said with a smirk as I flicked her forehead and made my way up the steel cold bleachers.

(Adora's Pov)

The game had come to an end, We were able to make the score come to a tie which was good enough for us although I still felt like a loser.
I made my way off the field and to the locker room to take a shower to at least rinse myself off. I stood there as I tilted my head back letting the water hit my neck, it was comforting and relaxing it felt nice having it hit my sore muscles. A small smile appear on my face as I got out and dried off, I turned off the water as I was walking out when a flyer caught my eye and I looked at it to see Catra's name written on it and the bottom, I chuckled as I made my way out of the locker room to my friends.
They all gave me a hug a gentle loving hug as I smiled.
"Not my best game but not bad for the first one of the year" Adora said with a dramatic sigh.
"Whatcha mean? It was the best one I've seen!" Glimmer said with jazz hands to lighten up the mood I laughed I was happy that they were trying to help, we went out for ice cream after that.
I got home around 12am Miss.Razz wasn't home yet 'I'm guessing she having late tea with angella'
I went ahead and got changed into a gym bra and some nike shorts and laid down and pulled my thick covers over me as I listened to the wind howl.
