*Trigger Warning for this chapter. I'll try to do it for all the chapters that need one, but sometimes I forget, sorry.*

Leon

I opened my eyes. Well, not my eyes. The eyes of whatever mortal died most recently. The office around me was dark and silent. On the desk in front of me lay a handwritten note:

Louisa,

I'm so sorry. I can't do this anymore. I never told anyone what happened to me and I can't now either, but know it wasn't your fault. I love you!

Benny

I dragged Benny's cold palm down my face. There was no one around him. This wouldn't work. Guess I'll have to try again. I lay down in the position Benny was in when I found him and focused on finding another body to inhabit. The air around me was frigid as my consciousness flew into another body.

The stench is what hit me first. Mothballs? Mold? I opened my eyes to see several elated faces. Some of the people surrounding me clutched my hands and sobbed.

"Mom?" a gray-haired man asked. I looked down at this body. Wrinkles covered every surface and told the story of a lifetime, but I was immortal and had lived a thousand lifetimes without wrinkling. Disgusting. A warm liquid flowed down my pants. Ugh, I hate old bodies. They have no control. I deserve better than this body. And the people around me are all to old or ugly to be the person I am looking for. Besides most of these men wouldn't pass Serena's test. She'd walk into the room and they'd all ejaculate and Julius would win. No, I needed someone else.

There's only one thing to do now. I cleared my throat so the sobbing men quieted. "I hate you all." And With that, I left the wrinkled old hag to find another body.

Blood. I remember when my siblings and I were fighting on the battlefield together and this metallic smell filled the air. I remember causing people an unending pain as my father requested. We still didn't win.

*Trigger Warning Starts*

This body was covered in blood. Curled hair was matted to my face. A shadowed figure hovered over me. In the dim light, I could make out his naked body. He was skin and bones. One of those bones was angled suspiciously close to this girl. I looked at the small boy on me. "Run," I said clearly in my demonic voice.

The boy jumped and looked at my face, the girl's face. "How- How are you alive?" he stuttered.

"I'm not. Not technically speaking anyway. I'm a demon. Apollyon the Conqueror. And for what you just did to this young woman, I will make sure you suffer. I've heard of a saying you humans use, 'There's a special place in Hell for someone like you.' And they are right. Even demons know what you've just done is wrong." I leaned forward till my bare chest pressed against his shaking one. My lips brushed the shell of his ear, "We'll have lots of fun you and I," I whispered.

My hand wrapped around his throat and squeezed. He barely fought me as the life left his eyes. I tossed his dead body to the side where it thumped against the linoleum floor.

*Trigger Warning Ends*

"I'm tired of this," I said to myself. The girl's clothes were strewn across the floor. I picked up all the pieces I could find and put them on. "What is wrong with humans these days?" I said as I tried to figure out a strappy contraption.

A creak of the linoleum echoed through the small apartment. Finally, someone else is present. I don't care who it is. The will help me win this bet.
