Another dadvid story

Nightmare

This is a side story! Basically Max has a nightmare while sleeping(it's continuing from the last part of chapter 4) so I hope you enjoy! You can skip if you want because this part probably won't mention anything for chapter 5

Max POV(in nightmare)

I was back in my 'parents' house....I saw my 'Father' standing in front of me, he then punched me

"YOUR A DISGRACE YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" My 'Father' screamed at me

he picked me up and slammed me on ground, then he kicked my gut. I felt my ribs break, and blood come from my head and nose

"F- Father I-"

He kicked me again

"ITS SIR TO YOU! YOUR A WASTE OF SPACE!!!"

He smashed a bottle on my head

"I'm sorry!" I scream in pain.

I hear a gun...

then a gun shot.

I woke up in a sweat tangled in my blankets...

I look around not remembering where I was.

David POV

I was woken up by a bloody murder scream coming from Max's room, I get up and run to his room to see him crying into his knees holding.

I run over to him "Max? Are you okay!? What happened!?" I ask

I see him look up at me then back away till he fell off the bed.

"Max!?" I go to the other side of the bed, he then crawls backwards till he hits the wall looking at me in fear.

"Max?...." I look at him concerned, I turn on the lights and I walk over to him, he flinches but I try to ignore that and sit in front of him.

"Max? Did you have a nightmare?" I asked him in the calmest voice I could possibly give. He looks up at me for a moment then he suddenly hugs me, I hear him cry and my heart breaks I hug him very tightly rubbing circles on his back.

"Shhh...it's okay max...your safe with me....I promise..." I whisper to him, a couple minutes go by and I hear his cries quiet down and suddenly he goes limp in my arms.

I sigh and carry him to his bed tucking him in and giving him Mr. Honeynuts

I whisper goodnight to him and then head off to bed
