"I didn't want to say in front of everyone and correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you come to middle school with us. your name is y/n l/n, right?" Osamu questioned
I was stunned that he remembered, I looked down at my feet and laughed awkwardly "...ha, yeah." I watched his feet come closer to mine; and before I knew it I was pulled into a deep hug, it took me a couple of seconds to acknowledge what was happening. after realization hit, I immediately hugged back.
"I knew it was you. bitch, did you not think your best friend was gonna catch you hiding, you planned the event dumbass so of course, everyone noticed you." he rolled his eyes, "anyways, how's my best friend doing? I didn't even get a goodbye hug when you left Tokyo, I thought-"
I looked up to his pouting face, "well I mean I moved to Miyagi and haven't seen you in years but... how do you even remember me? I thought everyone would just forget about me and move on with their lives. you even remember us being best friends, how? how did you recognize me?"
"hmmm, I could never forget an ass like that." I pulled out of the hug to hit him playfully, slightly pouting.
he chuckled, "I'm kidding, no need to hit me. That actually hurt as well. Things haven't changed about you though. your cheeks still puff out when you pout, and I see you still have that temper of yours." then his eyes went wide "wait-you have to meet my other best friend. I'm sure you'll remember him, we became close after you left."
Osamu pulled out his phone and quickly typed away. he looked past me at someone, and I soon felt a presence next to us, I turned and met a pair of glowing green eyes.
