Hello, everyone. I'm Kimberly Tsu. Ma'am, puwedeng mag-Taglish, di ba?

Yes, go ahead.

Okay. May medical emergency kasi ako nu'ng binigay 'to last December. Ka-partner ko rito si Primitivo Regidor.

Hahahahahaha

Yeah, don't laugh, guys. Nagsasalita pa 'ko, di ba? Okay.

To tell you honestly, ang daming suggestion ni Joey sa kung ano ba dapat ang gagawin namin. I said we should make a tree 'cause even a grade-schooler can do it. And I'm not the best person to pair with when it comes to arts. I do shit in arts so at least, we can agree with a simple tree.

Mahirap mag-roll ng magazines and we even took a week and a half to finish the rolling part.

But this is the case, I told Joey to paint it green and brown because literally, that's what a tree should look like. The trunk is brown, the leaves are green. Kahit first grader alam 'yon. But Joey liked it pink. We all know Joey, come on.

Yeah, nag-away kami rito. I said walang punong pink. Pina-justify ko sa kanya 'yon. Then he showed me a freaking cherry blossom tree.

I grew up believing that trees are green and brown, not pink.

But yeah, there are pink trees. And these pink trees are beautiful. More stunning than the common green and brown trees.

Puwedeng common sense lang ang gamitin for my background para sa project namin, na yes this is tree with pink leaves. At dahil hindi natin matanggap na may pink talagang puno, we tend to discriminate.

And I don't think someone will discriminate nor laugh at pink trees just because they're pink kasi in reality ang ganda talaga nila.

Everything about this project is not my cup of tea, but I absolutely enjoyed the process of creating this piece with the person who made me believe that . . .

That?

That we can get a higher grade greater than 70, ma'am.

Ay.

What's the title of your project, Miss Tsu?

Pink Tree.

Acquiescence

Wow, deep.

That's good.
