I Fell In Love Again

Our moment

We at dinner and chatted the whole night. We danced and we shared a warm moment,
my eyes got diverted to her lips. Her soft lips. The same lips I kissed years ago at the Slytherin common room.
I grinned smugly she started to laugh, she knew what my smugly grin meant.
God she didn't forget!
My heart skipped a beat as I remembered her, me kissing her.
I felt pain before thinking about these memories but now I felt happy, delighted.
My hands reached to her face and I held her for a while.
She was looking at me without blinking.
I slowly kissed her, If there's anything called heaven, our kiss felt like it.
I made her come closer, there was no space left between us. She was confused for a moment but she did kiss me back but she slowly started to part away.
I was sure I did something, shit, I thought.
"Draco, "she breathlessly said.
"I loved that but as we are starting from a new start we need to know each other first properly, so let's first be friends", she said with a shy smile on her face.

I felt a bit sad, did she not want me? My mind thought.
My heart said, stop it! She just needs time to process.
I listened to my heart.
" Yeah sure, I would love to still be friends", I said with a ear to ear grin.
She said goodnight and left, I felt just like I had felt after our first kiss, Happy and crazy in love.
