Jimins POV
Jimin slowly opened his eyes, a hand shielding him from the blinding daylight as Jungkook drew the curtains aside.
He turned to give him a bunny smile. "Good morning, sleepy head. You should get up, it's time for breakfast soon."
The blonde groaned and turned away in his bed.
"If you eat breakfast they let you use the gym."
Jimins head jerked up.
He threw his blanket aside, determined to burn as many calories has possible. He got up to go to the bathroom, fixing his hair with the door still open as he could see Jungkooks reflection in the mirror.
He changed from his hoodie into a shirt, the bandage that was there yesterday was no longer covering what Jimin had already feared to see. His skinny arm was plastered in cuts, some so big it took Jimins breath for a moment. The other arm was covered in scars, some pink but most of them a faded white.
"You should get that checked out you know.", the blonde mumbled as he returned and now also changed his clothes.
Jungkook scoffed. "I'm on my way for that, I'm being weighed today so there's no use in hiding it."
Jimin just shrugged. "At least they can stitch it up now."
Jungkook went over to the door, a hand on the handle before he turned a last time. "They can't. It's been too long, they can only clean and dress it now. Some things are better hidden until it's too late for someone unwanted to interfere with it.", and with that, the raven haired left.
It left Jimin a little startled as he thought about what his roommate just said. Maybe, in a twisted way, this logic could apply to Jimins weight loss methods.
Head spinning, he grabbed his water bottle from his night stand and chugged half a liter away at once. He was breathing heavily but smiled, he could feel his stomach filling up immediately. It felt so relieving, so good.
Now he only had to get around eating enough.
----------------
Sweat was dripping down Jimins chin like a waterfall.
With every passing minute he increased the speed on the treadmill he worked out on, all the while looking around to watch other patients doing the same. Some looked quite the healthy weight, a few obese.
But one person was so skinny, bones glistening in the blinding light above them.
His blue hair swept back, a few strains occasionally falling back into his face.
He was panting, seemingly running low on stamina and energy but he pushed, until he came to a sudden halt that almost threw him down the treadmill.
Skin glowing a pale light, he supported himself with his hands on his knees as he ran out of breath.
Jimin knew that feeling too well, you keep pushing and pushing but only when you stop to catch your breath you feel you've trusted your body too much, went over your limits.
The blonde slowed down bit by bit, watching the other until he stepped down the treadmill with a bottle of water in his small hands.
Tiny steps carried him over to the blue haired where he offered him the bottle without a word.
The other looked up and snatched it from his hands, greedily chugging it's entirety until he caught his breath once again, but now his panting seemed to lessen.
"Thank you", his deep voice exclaimed as he got up and quickly exited the gym, leaving Jimin behind as he wondered whom he just met.
He was so sunken into thoughts that he forgot why he was there, empty eyes following the blue hair until he was out of sight.
Almost ... like a spark was enlighten in Jimins soul.
