3 -New girl-

Y/N's POV

Beep beep beep 

OMG COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TURN THAT OFF

"Good morning Miss Y/N, it is time to wake up" I heard Friday call.

"Just a few minutes more" I groaned, barely able to speak.

"If you stay in bed any longer you will be late to your first day in Midtown school of science and technology"

"You can just call it school Friday" I said.

And then it hit me, today I was going to school. Suddenly, my stomach started spinning and the mear thought of eating anything made me nauseous. All the nerves I hadn't feel in the last hours were coming to me now. I was going to be the new girl.

I got up and changed, when I looked in the mirror I was wearing all dark colors. Perfect I thought to myself, this way I won't bring that much attention to myself right? Oh boy, how wrong I was.

I decided it was best for me to walk, it was not a long way to school and I wouldn't want to show up in a luxurious car. That would be awful and would scream LOOK AT ME, not my goal exactly. 

When I got there I saw a group of girls who had started watching me. They were talking about me, I mean I have never been to school before but I'm not dumb, they were looking at me and whispering things to each other. When I walked past them, they stopped talking. I just threw my hood on and continued my way, I opened the doors and I wished I had never asked to come to this place. Everyone went quiet and stared at me, great, now was I not only the new girl but the centre of attention.

Thankfully the bell rang and the other kids started going to their respective classrooms. I went to the locker I was assigned and checked my schedule for the day. My first class was algebra, nice. Oh yeah, I'm kind of a maths lover, I just love it is the same all around the world, as cliche as that sounds.

Given as me coming here was so sudden I didn't had any time to plan out what I was going to do or even check a map of the school. I was completely lost.

As I was looking at my phone trying to find room 12 I bumped into someone. They dropped a sketch book and some pencils, I tried to pick them up but the person beat me to it. I looked up to find a tall girl who had curly hair, she was actually really pretty.

"I'm so sorry" I apologize "I should have been watching the way"

"It's alright" she says "aren't you that new girl everyone is talking about?"

"Is it that obvious?" I laugh a little "wait, everyone is talking about me?!" I was starting to freak out a little, it's not that I was expecting to be a rock and never talk to anyone, I just wanted to give an impression for people to know who I actually am. Now everyone thinks I'm just a weirdo,  and they don't even know I can move things with my mind, which is something I hope stays that way.

"If you are 'a mysterious and scary girl who showed up today and is wearing nothing but black', then yeah I guess people talk about you. Don't worry tho, they are always like that with newbies, soon enough they all go back to minding their own business, well most of them do. I'm Michelle by the way, you can call me MJ" she smiled, I guess, it was actually kind of weird.

Mysterious and scary? I could get used to that. "Y/N" I say and she shakes my hand.

"You have algebra now right, come with me I can take you, it's on my way to art anyways"

How did she know i had- 

I followed her anyways.

The class was not as great as I was expecting, it was pretty boring. Whatever topic the teacher was giving I already knew it by hard. Let's just say Tony liked teaching me himself, and he was no doofus, hell what am I saying, he is a genius. And now I was kind of a mini version of him, a better version of him even, but don't tell him that.

The day went on until it was lunch, FINALLY. Best time of the day if you ask me.

I grabbed my food which didn't look exactly appealing, but food is food and I love eating so, that was not a problem.

As I was walking with my tray through the canteen I was already making my mind up about finding a table and eating by myself. But I saw MJ wave at me from a table where two other kids were sat. I made my way there and took a seat besides her, the two boys in the table looked surprised.

"Is this your friend?" one of them asked "thought you didn't have any...n-not in a rude way, it is just what you've told us" one of them said.

"I've just met her today" MJ said "she's new around here"

"I'm Y/N" I introduced myself to the boy who I assumed was the most talkative among the group.

"Ned" he said pointing to himself "and he is Peter" pointing the boy besides him.

He was cute, but he was staring and that was weird. I don't like it when people stare, he didn't seem to have any bad intentions tho, he just seemed to be dozed off.

MJ waved her hands in front of Peter's face "Hey, you ok? Earth to Peteeeeer"

"W-wha what?" he said as he came back to reality "oh hey I'm Peter"

"Yeah I know" I said as Ned and Michelle laughed.

Then I started laughing as well and Peter joined, but his was more of a nervous laugh.

The rest of the way went by really quickly.

I put some music and my headphones on and started making my way home. I hadn't even been walking for three minutes when I felt someone touch my shoulder, I was startled by this and was ready to fight when I realized it had only been Peter.

"I'm sorry i didn't mean to scare you"

"You didn't scare me...I wanted to scare you. You thought I was going to beat you up" what the hell, ugh way to go Y/N, you didn't sound stupid at all. I mentally face slapped myself.

Peter laugh "Sure" he said "whatever you want" he kept walking by my side.

I looked at him as to say 'need something?'

"Oh um...yeah I actually meant to ask you where were you heading. Since you know um, we could be going in the same direction...so I thought we could walk together" he stopped for a second and looked at me after looking to the floor this whole time. "If you would like that course, I mean it's ok if y-"

"I'm heading north" I cut him off "if you are going that way we can go together" I smile at him, was he nervous?

"Great! Um I'm going north too" (idek)

The walk was a little awkward at first, it was silent. But as we kept going we started talking, turns out Peter is actually really fun. 

"Oh yeah, I have to turn here" he said.

"Okay, bye"

"Bye, see you tomorrow?" he asked

"Yeah" as he was turning around I said "Peter it was fun...this walk"

"It was" he said now facing me "we can do it more often if you like"

"Sure"

Each of us continue walking, and then I got home.

I went straight to the kitchen and grabbed an apple.

"How did it go?" Wanda asked

She startled me as I hadn't see her standing there. "Okay" I tell her and go straight up to my bedroom.

Ok I'll admit it, first day was not as bad as I thought.
