Doctors come rushing to Spencer, bringing him into a room to check on his condition. Visions are blurry to both Spencer and Olivia as they are witnessing each other from both perspectives. Olivia is holding on to Spencer for dear life, not letting go. Spencer, slightly awake, tries to call her name. "Olivia..." Olivia wasn't paying attention. She was panicking too much. She was too focused on his wounds.
Olivia snaps out of her thoughts as a doctor tries to tell her something. "Olivia, I'm going to need you to let go and let us take care of him. You can wait in the waiting room." Olivia refuses.
"No, I can't... I can't. He's my baby. He needs me."
"I understand, we both want the same thing but we can't assess Spencer's wounds until you let us go." Olivia lets go and cries out: "NOO, SPENCER!" A female doctor tries to calm her down. "He is going to be ok, honey, you just need to calm down and be patient with us. Can you do that for me?" Olivia calms down and breathes.
"The waiting room is right down the hall so you can just wait there until we get his results back. OK?" Olivia is calm but she is not hearing what the doctor is saying. She is just standing there, frozen, still processing over everything. The doctor waves her hand at Olivia, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Olivia, did you hear me?" Olivia shook her head no. The doctor repeated what she said and Olivia said ok, walking to the waiting room. As she was waiting, she said to herself: "Please, Spencer, I hope you come out of this whole. I hope you come back to me. I can't be alone again. Please, let me be in your arms again."
Some time passes and Jordan, Simone, Grace, Coop, Billy and Laura all arrive at the hospital. They all go to Liv and they give a group hug. Grace asks: "How's my baby Liv?"
"Um... they.. um.. haven't said anything yet. The doctors....will...ummm.. let us know soon." She saids this as she is shaking. Everyone sees her shaken. "Are you ok, honey?" asked Laura. "Yeah, mom, I'm fine." Olivia lies.
Grace knows she is lying so she decides to talk to her alone while everyone else sits in the waiting room. "Olivia, honey, I know you. I know when you are lying. Are you really ok?" Olivia completely breaks down into Grace's arms. (sobbing) "Oh, god, Ms. James, I am so scared. I don't want to lose him. I can't... I can't imagine my life without him-" Grace calms her.
"Listen to me, Spencer James is one of the strongest boys that I know, and I know, we know, that he will make it out of this whole. He will come back to you. There's no way he would live in this world without you or his family. OK? He loves you very much and he would want you to be strong for him. So, we are all going to be in the room and pray that Spencer will be with us, even though we know he is." Olivia smiles, thanking Grace for his encouragement. She gives her a hug.
"Thank you, Ms. James. I needed that." Grace smiles. "No, problem, baby, come on, let's go." They walk back to everyone in the waiting room. They wait for an hour before a doctor calling out: "Spencer James?" Everyone looks at the doctor. Grace and Olivia with Jordan holding her hand goes to the doctor. Grace asks first: "Hi, I'm Spencer's mother. How is he?"
"Luckily, he will be fine." Everyone is relieved, especially Olivia. The doctor continues. "Um... unfortunately, he suffered a severe concussion with a broken leg and two of his ribs being broken. We had to perform a mini surgery putting his ribs back in place. The surgery was successful. He will be able to move." Grace and Olivia sigh in relief, knowing that nothing too serious happened.
"Spencer is all patched up and he will heal within two months because of the ribs. He will have to be in a wheelchair for a few weeks. The doctors will call him to let him know when he will be able to walk." They all nod and smile, knowing that he will be ok.
